heartburn and hair on baby

im pregnant with my 4th and suffered horrendous heartburn on them all..my 1st and 2nd baby were born bald and my 3rd had lots of dark hair,i swear she looked like monkey lol but heartburn was the same on them all,cant wait to see if this little one will have hair or not...

I know people who've had BAD heartburn and have had both genders. It's actually more likely that your baby will have a lot of hair per a new study (though with anything that's not always the case; just the majority of cases). It doesn't really indicate one gender or the other.

When does the heartburn start ?

This may be a really stupid question, but I was just curious if it's possible to see baby's hair on an ultrasound. I'm starting to get ultrasound once a week now to measure her growth, and I'm dying to know if she is going to have my hair or not. My hair is crazy curly and big so I'm sure, if possible, it would be hard to miss! Anyone seen their baby's hair, or has heard of it?

I know it is just an old wives tale but I believe it! Both my husband and I were born with a lot of hair and I have had insane heartburn especially at bedtime. I think my baby girl will have a full head of hair.

During my first, I had heartburn from hell and my baby DID have lots of hair but my friend also had tons of heartburn and was dead set on the fact that her baby would have lots of hair but her baby was completely bald and still is at 18 months. Haha so it really just depends on the person I guess!

Had zero heartburn with baby #1 and she was a fuzzball of black hair! With baby #2, i swear i had heartburn from conception and he was bald. Baby #3 was no heartburn ans she had a beautiful head of red hair.

When you have heartburn, the myth is that the baby will have a lot of hair on its head. Not all over. I had a lot of heartburn and my daughter was born with a head full of hair.

I had more heartburn with my first, and she was bald. My other 2 I still had heartburn, but not too much, and they had full heads of hair!

My little boy came out with some hair not a lot and to top it off his hair is blonde. I remember someone telling me ur baby has no hair and silly me was like all babys are born with no hair and my friend has her son a month later and came out w a lil fro!! Which is weird because both my husband and I have massive hair!

I don't know if there is any truth to the old wives tale but I had heartburn extremely bad with my first baby (last year) and she was born with a head full of super thick and lengthy hair...maybe 4 /5 inches...it looked like she was born wearing a wig or toupee and was a healthy tiny 5lb2oz baby ..lol. This February will be the 2nd and last baby I deliver ...its a boy and he's giving me even more heartburn than my daughter did...

I to have a baby with hair my last 2 were bald she saw the hair on ultrasound and said he has a head full, i said i know its a old wives tale about having heartburn but i had no heartburn with my last 2 that were bald and i have had so much heartburn with this one (i don't believe old wives tales either but thought it was funny in my case it was right) the tech said that's the only wives tale that i found to be true

I had no heartburn at all with my daughter and she was born with a ton of hair! This pregnancy I had really bad heartburn in the beginning so we will see if my little guy has hair in about 8 weeks.
