I suffer from fibromyalgia and neurophy daily. When the pain is severe I can hardly stand it. Are there any new approaches to this condition. I am taking vicoden, cymbalta, pamelor and neurotyn?

two weeks now have been having abdominal pain,back pain,lightly headacke,shoulder pain, joints pain and diahrrea. and i went to the doctor and they took urine test and didnt find anything so they gave me pain killer for the pain,and the pain went away for 3 days and then come back i am really worried can you gave me some answers please and thanks?

I am 33 and I feel so old b/c of the constant aches and pains! I have Fibromyalgia and Bulging/Herniated Discs in my Neck, and Many other Health Issues as you can see in my profile! First of all if you have Fibromyalgia there is something called the Fibro Fog, where you have a hard time concentrating and verbalizing! I personally think the most Prominent Symptom of Fibro is the Pain.

I have fibromyalgia, I take ibuprofen. Ibuprofen gives me acid and heartburn, Prilosec and others give me PVCs. I just gotta decide which one I want in a day!

Thanks. I've had the pain on and off for a year and my 1st Dr checked my gall bladder with two ultrasounds and also did 2 chest xrays. My current Dr just x rayed the ribs. I haven't had an ultrasound or full x ray in about a year. My endoscopy is next week. I read somewhere that sometimes fibromyalgia patients have rib pain and shortness of breath. is this true??

Any input would hel especially with the symptoms I have 2 kids and my husband is overseas and need help.

I just found in my records that my neurologist wants to rule out MS vs Lupus vs just problems caused by fibromyalgia. I have a + ANA, speckled, High sediment rate high C-reactive protein. I go see my neurologist for follow up next month so I’m making a list of points to keep in mind when investigating. This is my list. * Had food in my mouth but couldn’t make myself swallow.

Does anyone have both dx and yet their pdoc doesn't believe them? I got diagnosed like 8 years ago I think (kind of don't remember...the exact time) but now this year I get dx of bipolar and my pdoc doesn't believe I have fibromyalgia...I know I have the pain....and it feels like it is coming back, and if so this is the fourth flare up (one lasting two years, one lasting 6 months to a year, one was three months because of the depo-provera shot) what do I do to get taken seriously?

They determined I have been having severe heartburn and panic attacks. I am scared to eat. My doctor lowered my synthroid back to 125 and it hasn't been as bad. Are there other options for replacing hormones now that my thyroid is toast? Any one have suggestions or thoughts?

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last March. Since then and after trying few different prescription(Neurontin, Cymbalta) I decided I didn't like the way they made me feel and started researching what nutritional supplements could help. I resorted to taking supplements and saw my energy level and some symptoms improve. About 4-6 weeks, I have tingling (pin & needles) in my feet going up my legs and hands. My rheumatologists suggested I see a neurologist, to rule out MS.

I always get heartburn, and acid reflux 2. I went to a Dr. and described to him my symptons. Since both my parents have ulcers, and members of my family, have had stomach tumors before. the Dr. looked at me, after i was done talking, and he was like "sounds like you do have a problem, come and c me after you have your baby" I was sooooo Mad at him. Try morning sickness well tea it's good for gas n heartburn and vomiting just mix some lemon in it and it really help me I'm 16 weeks and I don't get gas much or heartburn ,sick that much hope it helps

The doctor who treated my P.E., said that she had to prescribe more warfarin for me than she ever had to for any other patient in her 20 year career. She specializes in treating post-operative emboli. Every week I had my blood drawn to gauge how much my warfarin dosage should be. Every week for months it was increased.

I'm 16 years old and I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease) in July. Since then, I have been on Tapazole (10 Mg, 3x/day). When I was first diagnosed, my T3 was 669; my T4 was 4.5 and my TSI was at 350. I was essentially asymptomatic. Now, my thyroid hormone levels are normal, but my TSI is slowly decreasing (it's 325 now). Lately, I've been having severe heartburn. I eat a snack when I come home from school and that's all.
