Avatar f tn I heard this too. I had Horrible heartburn and my baby came out with a lot of hair. We could see all her hair on my ultrasound at 36 weeks lol. So idk maybe!
Avatar f tn I didn't have heartburn with my first, and she came out with a ton of hair, and I have heartburn bad this time so we shall see!
5501743 tn?1390296087 Myth. I never had heartburn and both my son and daughter came out with a full head of hair.

Avatar f tn i never had heartburn and my daughter was born with a ton of black hair...then they shaved a streak on the one side to put in an IV when she was born needless to say with that dark of hair she was one pretty stylin chick!! (people would ask if it rubbed off when she was sleeping? and it was on the top side of her head?!) and when that started growing in the rest started thinning out...
Avatar f tn Prilosec for the acid/heartburn but to stop the choking at night try to eat more in the morning and at lunch and keep dinner light and early...
7223533 tn?1397755355 m very limited to my birth control options to my body already producing alot of hormones and estrogen. After I had my daughter I got on the Mirena and I blew up. After I got it removed I lost 20 lbs. I also had horrible morning sickness with my daughter. This pregnancy I didn't really have any morning sickness. I do get a lot of heartburn.
958842 tn?1266512599 I was on lupron for two weeks I was ready to start stims and they found a fibroid. Had it removed and she started me on estrogen for 4 weeks last two weeks of estrogen,I take the progesterone.
Avatar f tn I was so happy that at least that was better and the migraines went away so they must be associated with the rise in estrogen. After my surgery the constipation went away because they removed a rectovaginal cyst that was blocking and causing pain when I would have bowel movements. Now 4yrs after the surgery I do feel better but now my uterus is adhered to my bowels and my ovary attached to my uterus. I have cramping once in a while but I am now having side effects of the pill i think.
636349 tn?1251486217 I read that studies show when a man lives with a pregnant partner, his testosterone takes a dip and he actually experiences a rise in estrogen. In fairness...rises in estrogen are one of the things we're sensitive to that make us sick...so it makes sense that they'd get sick too. But..for some stuff..i think it is mental. DH doesn't puke but I swear if I hear him tell me how "exhausted" he is one more time, I'm going to poke his eyeballs out! He has NO IDEA!!!
405855 tn?1217100767 What is the correlation of estrogen and follicles? What should the estrogen number be before ovulation. Can this number be affected if you are taking Femara. On CD11, I had 5 follis - 20, 15, 18, 17, 16, 12 but my estrogen was only 23, is it possible? My lining was so think 4 mm only.
Avatar f tn I remember that prior to starting treatment in Sept 09, I read somewhere that being post menopause would be a negative strike against me but I still opted to NOT take estrogen. I have been in surgical menopause since 1996, I took estrogen for 10 years and then quit because of the increased chance of breast cancer after taking estrogen so many years. I finished treatment (without taking estrogen since 2006) and I achieved SVR.
Avatar m tn I went through a serious bout of stress from my job a couple of years ago and ended up leaving. My hair thinned, I started getting fat round my waste and on my chest giving me the dreaded man boobs look. The stress and lack of sleep got so bad at times that I often forgot what day it was and could not sleep or stop my hands from shaking. Now the problem remains and I can't get rid of it. My DHEA is fine and so is my testosterone.
Avatar m tn three months ago I had Pnemonia and even with using bi -est, I am having hot flashes and night sweats which has never happened to me on a constant basis. My husband thinks the pnemunia/fever rearranged my hormones and it will take awhile for them to settle down. I am 57 and was pretty stable on the bi-est. has this ever happened to anyone else?? Thx!
429647 tn?1249753429 my ttumor was tested and it was estrogen positive i am on an estrogen blocker.. how about asking your doc if the tumor was estrogen positive or not.
Avatar f tn I am new to this forum, and new to the world of menopause. I recently had my last ovary removed due to cysts and endometreosis. I did not want to go through menopause or life with no estrogen at age 35, so I opted for the estrogen hormone therapy. I chose to go with the Estradiol patches. I think that it regulates the estrogen more efficiently and you can't forget to take a pill! Let me give you my two cents on your issues...know that I am not a dr., but am going through this myself.
587083 tn?1327120262 Soy and estrogen: I've read much conflicting information about this, but what I believe we can say for sure is that soy products (soy milk, tofu, edamame) supply a weak form of estrogen from plant sources, called phytoestrogens. With menopause your body stops making estrogen. Eating soy products seems to boost the estrogen a bit, but is that good? I was a regular consumer of soy milk, tofu, edamame and flax seed after menopause.
Avatar n tn Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.
Avatar m tn Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen. I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods. I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.
Avatar f tn The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?
Avatar m tn All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.
