s almost like the gas moves to my chest when I lay down for bed (even after waiting 3 hours after eating) causing lots of pressure along with heartburn. Which wakes me up at night, causing diarrhea and a little vomiting too. This has been nothing like my last pregnancy with my son(he's 2). I almost have to sleep in the guest bedroom to prevent disturbing my husband at night with all the bathroom trips, please help!!!
Well tonight, I woke up feeling nauseous and had bad diarrhea with heartburn. After about 10 minutes of diarrhea, it for the most part went away along with the nausea. Should I let it go since I’m feeling better or go see my doctor? I’ve read that those could be signs of preterm labor and now I’m super worried because I haven’t had diarrhea or nausea like that at all this pregnancy and it didn’t last long at all.
t stand the burning sensation (heartburn) so i decided to take antacid (zellox-II) and immediately i feel relieved. The heartburn sensation disappearred overnight. The next day, I visited another doctor and explained to him my condition hoping that he would understand and write me a referral letter to the Gastroenterologist. He refused. He prescribed me more drugs: Zantac Ranitidine (150mg), antacid zellox-II, Zecuf, antibiotic (cephalexin), paracetamol, and cough syrup.
the pass couple days I been having really bad heartburn and feeling so nauseous that I cannot keep anything down (NOT EVEN WATER) and am just sleeping all day! I went to the labor and delivery like two times already and each time all they do is monitor my sons heart and then release me like twenty minutes later saying everything is okay! I feel like total **** and all I want to do is sleep! Is it something that is normal if labor is close by?
For about 8 months now I have had a horrible problem with heartburn and it finally got so out of control I went and saw a GI dr who gave me an endoscopy and found out I had an infection in my esophogus and probably had acid reflux. Well I have been taking prilosec and the heartburn has gotten alot better but now I have been having diarrhea for almost a month straight. Some days are worse than others but it never seems to be normal and its really interfering with my life. Whats going on!?
I feel your pain! During my first trimester I was miserable! The gas was horrid! Thankfully my husband is very supportive and would comfort me and help me find ways to deal with it all. Unfortunately, I found no way to cope. I just had to ride it out. Try an antiacid that doubles as a calcium supplement. That really helped with the heartburn. I'm 24 weeks now and still dealing with gas and heartburn but it is not near as bad as it was. Hang in there mama!
The only other thing I can recommend is to keep a food diary. Keep track of everything you eat and drink and see if there is a certain thing you eat prior to all these attacks. If there is, avoid it and see if that helps.
If it is something like that. The things that usually cause problems for ppl are gluten, dairy, fatty foods. Try to avoid these types of food and see if it helps.
As far as being backed up, there are better things to use than laxatives.
I had a HIDA scan yesterday and became very nauseated during the second part and had to go home b/c I ended up with a case of diarrhea and felt really bad. I woke up this morning with chest pain that radiated all the way in to my back. Is this a sign that my gallbladder is not working properly? Can anyone help? I stay nauseated 5 out of 7 days. I am miserable and feel like there is no end in sight.

I am between 32 and 33 weeks and for some reason I can eat all day and feel good but then at night I will get sudden heart burn and then diarrhea and then I will throw up everything that I ate for the entire day. And this only happens at night. Is this normal or what?? I need help and don't know what to do. I'm scared to eat now.
yesterday i had bad diarrhea but it stopped by itself , when i woke up this morning i wokeup with a runny nose and all other symptoms of common cold.. in addition to sever heartburn.. i only took panadol for the cold but it didn't work,
i need some cold medication safe during pregnancy as well as something for the heartburn..

That night, I began to have really dark, tarry diarrhea that lasted for a week. This was all during a time of high stress and anxiety. My company was going through job cuts and I was worried that this stomach issue was either Cancer or HIV. All STD tests came back negative. I had to more HIV tests nine weeks later (Elisa and PCR test). Both came back negative.
