We just found out i was pregnant, i quite smoking cold turkey, and im only 5weeks acording to the chart my baby doeant even have a heart beat. I was told with my first pregnancy that it was safe, and good for the babies heart beat to have 1 glass of red wine only a day.

Yes it's good for the heart but it still has alcohol in it that's bad for the baby. Trust me! Take it from someone who misses her red wine and sangria DEEPLY!!

s sterile and will not ruin the wine if it is drawn into the jug. All wine has some level of sulfites, it is a by-product of fermentation.

re not supposed to drink beer, but i found an awesome recipe for beer battered prk chops, and since i just learned df doesnt like them anymore than i do, i thought i'd get rid of the last package "really good" lol....i dont want to throw them out.....but i thought he'd like this, but i'm curious if it'll hurt me? the recipe only calls for 1 cup of beer, to be mixed with the flower etc....will that hurt alex?

I too, love my wine in the evening. I have stents that have been there since 2004 without any problems. But I know that even wine can be dangerous in excess.

If you drink a glass of red wine then its healthy for your heart. One glass once in while will not harm you or the baby.

Hi, I just wanted to post a simple recipe I made that seemed to last a few days and felt good. Brown Rice, steam or bake rice, drain tofu on paper towels to remove most of the water cut into 1/2" x 3" in size peices, and place in a fry pan w/ HOT coconut oil (just enough to wet the pan) let the tofu sizzle, for a few minutes, then turn, do not keep turning, add a sm.

Personally i would call my heart doc and throw this past them...as merileegal said MSG is notorious for increasing heart rates as well as red wine but we don't know your medical history, aren't doctors (altho they do check in occasionally and you'll note their insignia when they do) but if it happens again i wouldn't take any chances...we get one shot at life and why not make a simple call..i think both of the above posters are correct.....

Does someone has experience or information on red wine being good for heart if taken in small quanytities. I am concerned that it might interfere with medications for heart(coreg, ACE-I, aspirin, aldectone etc.. I am not diabetic. Thanks in advance for responding.

My dr has recommended that I occasionally have a glass of wine. I had a heart attack at 20, right after my daughter was born, and heart problems run in my family. He also told me to keep asprin on hand, and take two if my chest starts to feel tight. Have any of you had advise like this? Even with my first, the dr recommended that I drink wine. 170 I have always been athletic and in good shape but about 11 months ago I started getting bad chest pains after working out. At first I was worried that it was a heart problem. I kind of blew it off for a little while that it was just stress. Then I got these chest pains in the middle of the night and was keeping me up for most of the night. It even got so bad I would go into a panic attack thinking I was having a heart attack. My wife pretty much forced me to go to the doctor.
