6627313 tn?1383131322 m in the USA so my market experience is different than yours in some cases, but I think Omron is a product name - and your doctor (I assume and the best source for an accurate answer) is prescribing you wear a heart rate monitor. The ones I am familiar are called Halter (may be a brand too) which normally refers to a monitor that one wears for 24 hours. Longer term monitors are usually (in USA) just referred to as a heart monitor.
10218090 tn?1408580560 No headache, diarrhea, heart attack, anxiety, impatience or struggle. His physical strength, heart rate, breathing rate got weaker and weaker. Did not respond to revitalization procedures. Cookie died peacefully. Cookie and his parents are from China. The question: Exactly what type of poison? What is the name of the compound? Any hint will be greatly appreciated!
Avatar m tn A lot of foods that are high in fat or sugar, like deep-fried foods and biscuits, can cause high heart rates and skipped beats in some people. I personally can't eat a lot of sugar at once without feeling my heart do strange things. Another food trigger for me is MSG ... which is found in far more foods than you'd think.
Avatar f tn The term "Heart Arrhythmia" is a general term that refers to a large number of heart rhythm conditions that exhibit a heart beat that is not "normal". It may be there are missing or extra beats, or just a irregular tempo (the space between beats is not uniform) or the HR is too fast or too slow, or even stops briefly. Here I note all heart frequency varies as the body is subjected to physical or emotional loads. That too is normal and not considered a heart arrhythmia.
Avatar m tn The cost of ablation varies from country to country and from institutions to institutions. My ablation, altogether, was billed to the insurance at nearly $80,000. I ended up having to pay about $2500 out of pocket, which was a big deal to me. Ablations are not cheap, after you add in equipment fees, hospital fees, cardiologist fees, and anesthesiologist fees. In many hospitals, it is considered an "out-patient" procedure.
Avatar m tn What you're going through seems exactly like what I went through when my AF introduced itself to me. They can only tell when you're in AF and via ECG. You will know by the fact your heart seems like it's rolling around in your chest and your heart rate is around 200. If you press it, you could push your ventricles into V Fib, which could be lethal. I did it once while running and fell down in the weight room.
Avatar n tn During this time I have experienced many side effects. After stopping the medication I have experienced increased and uneven heart rate, joints pain, diarrhea, stomach pain , light head. Each o the has lasted for number of days replaced by another just to be back in a two weeks frame. This is going for more than a month. I have tested 3 times (last time week ago) and the tests are negative. Is it possible that this is due to the PEP or it is sign of HIV infection.
Avatar f tn The real litmus test for POTS is in your standing BP/heart rate. What you want is to find a hospital that can give you a tilt table test. They don't necessarily have to specialize in dysautonomia (you can look for that later if the tilt comes back positive). I also recommend getting a blood pressure cuff at home and taking regular lying, sitting, and standing readings. (Make sure you get one that does BP and heart rate.
4293524 tn?1358044300 I'm watching the Teleton USA and I start crying because I see how excited the kids and their parents get to finally have someone who can help them out since they are not financially stabled. My hormones are seriously driving me crazy. I cry for every little thing.
Avatar m tn Hi I underwent RF Ablation for erratic and sometiimes fast heart rate. It used to go up suddenly to 120 -180 ans sometimes stay at 180 for 2-3 days. After the first ablation, it recurred after 4 days. After second ablation, again it recurred within a short while. Last one was in 2005, when a Danish Doctor came to India and he has claimed that has burned tissues around the region where the veins enter the heart.
Avatar m tn In my case, I take the medications to slow my heart rate down, but I also get a lowering of my BP. I think my unmediated BP near normal 120/80 typically. This last point isnt particularly relevant to your question, but you may find it helpful anyway.
