So it sounds like to me that you are coming down with a cold or flu. This could explain the higher heart rate too. heart Palpitations can mean so many different types of issues and sensations. Mostly feeling a flip flop or pause in your pulse, these are known as premature contractions. Or heart beat>100 per minute known as Tachycardia. From your description, it sounds like premature ventricular contractions.
At the time of the EKG, I didn't have that episode I had a couple days ago (sweating, pressure in chest, and trouble breathing) Is that why the EKG came back normal because at the time I didn't have these symptoms; just chest and jaw pain. I still have chest and jaw pain now. I feel lightheaded sometimes also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Around this time I was also experiencing heart palpitations, but kept putting off a doctor's appointment. On Thanksgiving day, I ended up going to the hospital because my heart was beating hard and fast and I just did not feel right. They kept me overnight and did various blood tests, EKGs, and an Echocardiogram. They couldn't find anything wrong (said it was possibly dehydration). The heart palpitations died down a little.

As far as heart attack goes, sometimes the pain is unbearable, and it radiates into my shoulder and jaw. But I hope it is just anxiety considering my history and age. Thank you again for you advice!!!
Probably sometime in September, I started having occasional heart palpitations. I've had them, rarely, in the past but they would always go away after a day or two. This time they seemed to linger. I ended up going to the ER on Thanksgiving due to a rapid heartbeat and generally feeling unwell. The hospital did multiple EKGs and blood tests, and even an Echocardiogram, but couldn't find anything wrong. They asked if I had anxiety but I said no.

I know worrying doesn't help, but what else can I do? Well I get chest pain and heart palpitations ALL day long. My resting heart rate is 100b/m but it sky rockets quickly to about 130b/m when I barely get up from the couch. I seriously just walk slowly and my heart races. I also get terrible chest pain. It lasts all day but it comes in semi-short episodes. It sometimes hurts when I exercise and move or when I breathe in or laugh. Yet it can also happen when I'm at rest just sitting.
heart palpitations/ skipped hard beats, severe weakness, feeling heavy especially when walking/running, severe shortness of breath, lightheadedness/dizziness, numbness in arms, headaches, pins and needle feeling all over the body, sudden adrenaline rushes, severe GERD / acid reflux...
Hello, just wanted to say that I too have been suffering with esophagul spasms which bring on heart palpitations, breathlessness and even twitching.. plus constant discomfort in my chest on my left side about where my ribs are... Ive been trying to figure out for some time what's causing this and I think i got it down to parasites causing my stomach to spit food back up. So i started on a parasite cleanse, and it seemed to really help.
I am having severe pain in the center of my chest followed by throat and jaw pain. Normally lasts about 15 min. Has happened approx 8 times in the last 5 days.
She has had just about all the test done to check her heart and the doctors say now her heart is in perfect condition! She had the heart attack about five months ago and two stents were placed and she sustained no damage to the heart. There was a third blockage that the doctor said was small and that blood thinners would take care of it. She ended up back in the hospital a couple of weeks ago and had the third stent placed for that small blockage which grew to 80%. The last cath.
My face got numb, tinging went crazy in my neck and face, my neck definitely went into a spasm, no question, had some painful spasmic sensations running into my jaw and chest area. The tingling got pretty strong all over. Thoracic ended up in a spasm, sharp pain there with movement, my abdomen got tight, and my throat was tightening up. Don't get why this started with a pounding painful pulse.
and in my 20s, when I had GERD undiagnosed, I got such bad chest pains felt like a truck was sitting on my chest and this pain radiated into my left arm, my neck, and my jaw. Yea that's like most heart attack symptoms!! Then, when i was 31 I finally figured out I was lactose intolerant. Cut out the dairy and the chest pains were gone. almost 10 years of that pain, it was that simple and none of my docs could figure it out.

33 year old female, history of chest pain dates back almost 6 years. Also have pain in left jaw, neck, shoulder, arm, back and armpit areas. Have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis in the past year, confirmed by biopsy. Have moderately high blood pressure, which is controlled with medication. In the last year, I have had a treadmill stress test and a resting echocardiogram. Both indicated no problems. Over the past 6 years, I have had 3 EKG's also (the last one being about 2 years ago).
Concerned that with the arm, jaw, and chest pain is that it is still heart related. No pattern, no change with exercise. Q's 1. heart Related? 2. Other suggestions?
after 2 months of acute tonsillitis and antibiotic treatments I am still the same. Feels like something is in my throat every time I swallow, terrible jaw pain, unusual pain, sensation in tongue ear ache...all on the left side! Unbelievable! Have another physical Dr. Appointment on September 12..... Will update then....how is your feeling now?
I was having head aches, neck/head aches, jaw pain, ear pain, and stabbing pains behind the eyes. Been on antibiotic, seemed to help alot, my eyes seemend like they were hazy even. Going to ENT doctor in early June. Oh by the way, I also had facial tingling for 6 years, this is why I had MRI done, everything was normal except for sinuses. Hope this helps. Take care.
jaw pain, neck, head discomfort/pain, ringing in the ears sound somewhat close to a TMJD problem. Occlusion problems and temporomandibular joint may cause such symptoms. Do you ever hear any pops, clicks or experience any pain around your TMJ/lower-front ear part? I would consult your dentist and see if they can see feel anything via palpation and radiographs.
The pain is located on the left side of my chest, and it goes to my armpit, neck, arm and back, and once even my jaw. So my biggest question would be if this pain really could be anxiety related, and can anxiety produce such constant and persistent pains, or do my symptoms suggest something more. Again, I have been to a lot of doctors last year, maybe 10 of them in total, and they told me I was ok, but now I am afraid again.
I have random aches and pains in my wrists and arms and upper back along with my jaw. Not severe pains, just pain that lasts for a few seconds and then goes away. I also get palpitations where my heart skips beats. I have had several EKGS and blood work done. Chest Xrays as well. All normal every time. I finally went to a cardiologist who told me I was perfectly healthy and did not even run tests on me. He said he felt as though I had POTS and told me to increase my salt intake.
I have the EXACT same anxiety problems. I am constantly worrying about my heart. I have a constant chest pressure, left shoulder and left arm pain, left sided neck and jaw pain as well. I have the "classic" angina/heart attack symptoms but I have had so many tests in the past 2 years on my heart that all my doctors are convinced that it is not my heart. I am only 30 years old and I don't have any cardiac risk factors.
i am taking the medication atenolol 25 mg which is a beta blocker for my heart, because my heart races, and i get these weird feelings in my heart, they say that they are heart palpultations, but the way that a heart palpultation is described, is not the way that my heart feels. my heart feels like it is vibrating in my chest and like my heart stops. it takes my breath away, and it is a very uncomfortable feeling.
I don't know what your palpitations are but they can be managed by the doctor and you can live life fully. I've had heart arrhythmias all my life and have been married 38 years (today!), had 3 children and worked with wildlife for over 20 years now. Obviously my crazy heart didn't stop me. and I expect to live a long time. I've made it this far.
I left the emergency room with a diagnosis from the ER doctor. He said I have heart palpitations. They also told me that the effects of the cocaine could still be effecting my system even though blood and urine showed up negative for cocaine. It has been about 6 days since I used cocaine. I feel like I have swallowed a bunch of diet pills. I feel drained. I am hoping that my heart palpitations will eventually stop.
I have a thyroid nodule on my right lobe and the ear pain is barely tolerable. Some symptoms of hyperthyroidism include heart palpitations and arrhythmia. Hyperthyroidism can be common after pregnancy.
