Hi, my name is Khaldoun Al habib and i am 32 years old I would like your advise on a heart surgery that i will undertake on Novermber 2010. In 1999 i had a correction to a coarctation with a 20mm Dacron interposition and in October 2000 i excised a bicuspid aortic valve, replaced with a 24mm cryopreserved aortic homograft. A couple of weeks ago i was admitted to hospital with left heart failure, pulmonary oedema and orthopnea.
My father had TURP operation one and half month back. After 4 days of operation leaking problem occurred. He was saying that he don't have any kind of sense while urine comes out.After that we consulted the same doctor, he was saying that you have to wait for another 6 months for control. I am helpless. Later we have moved another doctor there he said, some nerve(something i don't know which controls the urine) has damaged at the time of operation.

If the blockages in the circumflex get worse, then blood will be less available for both the right side of the heart and the left side/rear. I would look into the possibilities of having the blockage in the right artery opened using stents also. If the muscle near the left apex is viable, then I would probably be looking to bypass.A nuclear scan would be very valuable here.

In my understanding after operation he can consider about one year as a healing time. I did not have operation, but was recovering from my heart failure. 1 YEAR I needed to feel well and no pain or very occasional pain. He must be sure NOT lifting heavy things. When I had lift or was letting stress in my life, all turned out of some sort of pain. Those are the 2 mayor things he should watch for. so my father had an operation right above his heart but the operation had notthing to do with his heart. well today in the morning he found a small lump right by it followed by pain on his left arm and on the left side of his face. my father is 42 and im scared that the lump could be cancer. any thoughts?
