Avatar_n_tn Hi Esther Yes, very normal for metoo and I am sure many others. I get bouts of rapid heart beating and feeling that my heart is skipping a beat or two and chest pains. Just last week while at work it happend again .
Avatar_n_tn I wouldn't get an epidural in my lower back for the birth of my kids! I can not seems to make the appointment to have them stick a needle into my spine through my NECK! Again I am sorry that you are in so much pain and are holding such a high tolerance to pain meds. Have you ever considered that the pain may be in your head? It is possible that you have built up such a tolerance and require much higher meds that you have mentally made the pain worse than it is?

560501_tn?1383616340 even though the baby had me awake for about an hour at 3am) and made the kids/hubby breakfast, then went out for a brisk walk for 30 minutes. I walked 3/4 of a mile. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my neuro. A follow up from the vertigo and steroids. I'm not sure what to expect from that. Not much else going on this week. Trying to keep my enthusiasm for the daily walks up. Cleaning, playing with the kids, cooking...lather, rinse, repeat :-) Hope everyone has a great week!
254689_tn?1251183640 I noticed it a few days ago but wasn't sure if it was just the formula but since it has gotten significantly worse, I'm calling his dr Monday. Bless his heart - he's still eating okay but I think it's made him fussy (like he needs a reason - ha, ha). His overstimulation continues. He fights sleep like no other - in fact it reminds me of myself. My mil told me today that my dh was a lot like that. Great - he got it from both sides.
Avatar_m_tn http://news.aol.com/article/ap-impact-liver-disease-plagues-obese/163691?cid=12 (continued) Specialists say many kids diagnosed with fatty liver disease come to subsequent checkups heavier, and at best, just one in four loses significant weight, the only treatment known to stop and even reverse the disease. "My patients that are successful, the whole family has bought in," increasing exercise and changing diet, said Dr.
519226_tn?1378994921 We worked hard for everything we have and never asked her or anyone else for anything. She has deep psychological issues for sure, but will never go for help, since she says "it's everyone else, not her that has the problem". She thinks there is nothing wrong with her. In addition, she is extremely paranoid, thinking that everyone is scheming against her or talking about her. (That's probably because that is what SHE does!
1408746_tn?1283678948 I just recently had a major surgery for something called Nutcracker Syndrome. This Syndrome results most commonly from the compression of the left renal vein between the abdominal aorta (AA) and superior mesenteric artery (SMA), although other variants exist.[1][2] The name derives from the fact that, in the sagittal view, the SMA and AA (with some imagination) appear to be a nutcracker crushing a nut (the renal vein).
716841_tn?1289951786 Are you stable and mature enough to guide yourself? Are you playing any games with my parents around independence for it's own sake? Would anyone else be going to his state with you, perhaps a friend who could keep you seeing things straight (if that's what you actually want)? 5. What do you really know about this guy? What's his character “track record?” Have you done a history of his behaviors with other people? Talked to people about how he usually handles himself with women?
429155_tn?1205676864 Oxycontin.- While awaiting the scan results I was given oxycontin for pain relief, this seemed to do the trick for 2 weeks, 10mg 2x a day, then things hurt again so up the dose went 20mg 2x a day, then 40mg 2x a day, then 80mg 2x a day and up to 120mg 2x a day, recognise the scenereo anyone??..
1349329_tn?1276988802 Hi, I've been posting on the Substance Abuse Forum so I thought I'd come and have a peek at the Social Forum and tell everyone (I know you can hardly wait) a little more about myself that does "NOT" have to do with Drug Addiction. I grew up in San Franciso, and I have to say I think it was the best place to grow up in.
Avatar_n_tn If all of you whose heart is like mine will pray for us I will be praying for you all as well. What is the success rate of reversal for cliped and burned reversal?
131817_tn?1209532911 a little cosmetic work by finding a medical excuse for it. I've been a Kaiser patient for a quarter of a century, and yes, sometimes I've had to request a procedure several times before they caved in, but they have always caved in. I'm told that Kaiser is run differently than any other HMO in that their doctors are salaried and therefore find no advantage in denying care because their paychecks remain the same.
Avatar_n_tn ONe night we were going out to a dance and I was spending the afternoon getting the kids ready for the sitter etc when I felt it coming on again. I had had it!!! I threw myself on the bed and yelled, "Come on, come and get me! You *%@#* come on and make me faint or lose it, I don't give a damn! I know it won't make me die so come on and do your thing!!! I just laid there and suddenly felt it all going away. I'd beat the monster down!

Avatar_n_tn There's no way anyone would excuse me if I were a constant jerk toward my kids right now. And I don't think the TX can be an excuse for your husband to make your life miserable. One thing I learned from this TX is that I am strong and I am a adult with responsibilities for those I love. If your husband was a good enough guy before TX, you oughta give him a chance and some support to get some expert help (from a doctor or therapist or minishter or whatever).
Avatar_f_tn I've recovered really well, except for the incredibley ugly belly, it still looks like a piece of bad modern art - definately no striptease classes for me!!!! I've at last got a provisional date for my big operation - it doesn't seem over 6 months since we had our operations, time flies! Lisa.
343765_tn?1202526132 Amy, Thanks for the words of encouragment. Yes I am a praying person and sometimes I think that God gets so tired of me saying,"God it is me again"!! I know that if we call upon him he is there. I truly believe that. By the way I did go take a movie right after I posted. I went to 27 Dresses. It was really good and I didn't notice as many of the little "DEMONS" while I was there.
544292_tn?1268886268 I think this place attracts some of the most intelligent and caring people in the world. So gratifying. I haven't posted for a very long time ... but I will always keep this thread going. I remember so well the desperation I had to hear from anyone ... anyone about how they got off. Now there's years worth of posts from people round the world who kicked Tram.
