Avatar n tn s pose a problem is when someone has an very abnormally sized heart or bad heart disease. A normal healthy person can get anywhere from 0-20,000 palpitations per day. Some people are just more aware of them. If they are really bothering you and you can't stop thinking about them you could always make a cardiologist appointment, but when the cardiologist tells you they are fine and your heart is fine just take his word for it, and know that they will not cause you any hard.
Avatar n tn It has also been studied for slowing dementia, and reducing angina, symptoms associated with heart failure and other symptoms associated with heart -related illnesses. I recommend Coen Q10 to all patients with cardiac disease regardless of the presence of myopathy, because I have seen significant benefit in my practice patients. The safety profile is very good.
Avatar m tn Have anyone tried q10 suppliment to relieve muscle pain. Statin and q10 may have contradicting function but it seems that to maintain q10 level in our body may prevent muscle pain. Than again how to balance the statin/q10 dosage to benefit from both. We need to replanish the q10 level and at the same time lower the cholestrol level. Also it seems that with q10 defficiency could age the heart much faster.

Avatar f tn On Coenzyme Q10: cardiologists in Japan use it as adjunctive therapy in cases of heart failure and they've been doing this for years. Q10 is a prescription drug there. Coenzyme Q10 is manufactured by the body. The switching back and forth between its two forms - ubiquinone and ubiquinole - results in the production of ATP (energy) at the end of the electron chain, which is in the mitochondria of cells. Without Q10, you and I would be dead.

Avatar m tn I'm a 48 year old male in fair shape. I have been a runner since I was 13. I jogged 1-3 times a week for 3 miles. I thought I ate reasonably healthy, and didn't worry about heart disease. Two months ago, I had a 5 hour episode of PVCs and thought I was having a heart attack. The reason I'm posting here is because I've read many accounts of people experiencing similar things and I know how stressful it can be.

BINGO!

I got a bottle of Doctor's Best, [Hig]h [Abso]rption CoQ10, 100 mg, 120 Veggie Caps and after a week of taking it, I noticed my teeth became real sensitive. I immediately stopped taking the supplement that day and three days later, my teeth were back to normal.

Avatar f tn A study published in the journal Panminerva Medica demonstrates PycnoQ10®, a pycnogenol (French maritime pine bark extract) and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) combination, naturally improves heart function. Avatar f tn I was diagnosed w/ dilated Cardiomyopathy 12 years ago w/ an ejection fraction of 25%. They thought the cause of it was from alcoholism. 1253197 tn?1331209110 I think the recommendations are for regular cleaning without regard to relapse - unless you can't lie in the chair. Gingivitis is a source of inflammation and sometimes infection that can worsen MS - Just as gingivitis may seed the arteries and be related to ME and stroke. If you have a lot of gingivitis, you would want the hygienist to be very gentle to avoid the bacteremia associated with some cleaning (and brushing).
