Me being a pretty cautious dude, I searched the internet to try and solve my problems. But when I saw that it was a heart attack symptom my heart sank and I had a panic attack and felt like I was going to die. After I calmed myself down and walked home and told my mum about it. She said that i should I should wait a few days until I go to the doctor. During these days I developed very very minor chest pains, that was when I knew I needed to see a doctor.
I should probably give some background information since every place i have asked say its possible but not very likely at all.
I'm 16 years old 175lbs 5,11. For about the past 6 months or so i have done nothing but sit in a dark room on the computer, doing my school work and playing video games. I occasionally go outside but not so often anymore. I use to exercise, lift weights, run. But none in these past 6 months.
ve mentioned this in my last post but the reason my anxiety is bothering me a lot is because I always worry it will lead me to damage my health, and give me a heart attack. I always keep imagining about having one and fear that doing that will actually give me one. It's frightening!

I told the owner i think im having a heart attack. he called 911. They said my face was going pale. I opened the gym door and put ice on my face and took big deep breaths. the next day my father called the doctor to see if they got the results but no one answered, he then called the next day which would be thursday and no one answered again. well that very same day my father had a heart attack. Hi, im an 18 year old female I weigh about 160, my mother & sister has high blood pressure, other than that no family heart issues/attacks. For the past 4 days my left arm (upper) and my left coller bone has been aching, I wouldn't say pain.. its more like pulling a muscle feeling and also my left side of my neck, it can really feel it if I lean forward.
Hi Judy- very interesting question. You have mentioned several issues and I will address them separately.
1. Stress cardiomyopathy (CM)/"heart attack" - We see this quite often. Stress CM has several other names - "Tako Tsubo"/"broken heart"/apical-ballooning CM. It refers to a condition where (mostly) women develop chest pain after suffering some sort of emotional or physical stress, and the EKG and blood work suggest a significant heart attack.

The good news is there is no damage to your heart muscle, which means the things you read on the internet do not apply to you. Those statistics normally relate to people who have dead heart muscle from a heart attack. Your latest echo proves your muscle is fine.
You seem surprised that this has happened at your age. It is becoming more common now. When I was 46 I had my first blockage, but others were seen during the angiogram which had been there for many years.
