230262 tn?1316645934 What about A&W? Mmmmmm. Teen burgers and onion rings, with a large root beer. Taco Bell is good every once in awhile, love the fries supreme. KFC-I refuse to eat there, deformed chickens and they are tortured, read about it, it's disgusting. Mcdonald's, Quarter pounder with fries and vanilla shake and 2 strawberry sundaes, best dogmeat around:) Burger King,- The steakhouse burger is edible there and mozza sticks are good too.

Avatar n tn You first need to understand exactly what a heart attack is; A heart attack is when the heart muscle does not recieve a blood supply. That can be caused by CAD (Coronary Artery Disease) or a Cardiomyopathy where the walls have outstripped the blood supply. CAD on average takes about 20 years to develop (transplanted hearts take about 5 years) Cardiac failure is a chronic form of heart disease, it does not take place in a few minutes time.
2017105 tn?1333655165 Hey hang in there. Don't let anxiety ruin your trip! I'm no Dr. but it sounds like you deff. had indigestion. =/ That's always unpleasant. I can relate to you...so don't worry. It's kind of silly but sometimes I think If I eat something greasy that it'll be it for me that i'm gonna have a heart attack from the grease. I do have high tryglycerides but c'mon thats what cholesterol meds are for..right? Hang in there and have an awesome trip!
Avatar f tn d guess they would have to discuss what the old mans attack warranted.... like was the attack really a threat to a 20 year old kid. Anything can happen in a fight. It is unfortunate that this man died, but it too is unfortunate that he thought it necessary to attack a 20 year old kid over a hamburger. I mean, what in the name of all things holy happened with that? How does one get so mad over a hamburger???
Avatar n tn I try so hard to be patient and understanding but it has taken its toll on me as well. I had a heart attack and CABG surgery last year from all this stress. She refuses to have another MRI. She's had the 24 hour urine test a second time for cortizone levels that appear to be normal. I'm at a loss and find myself crying sometimes becuase I just don't know what to do. She even went as far as threatening to go down and set the Burger K%$g francise on fire.
Avatar n tn I work in a residential treatment facility for troubled teenage girls. A 14 year old I work with, will sometimes have a "panic attack" when girls start fighting. This doesn't happen every time though. She will drop to the ground, start spazzuming/shaking and make dolphin noises. Most of my coworkers and myself believe this is solely attention seeking behavior. Others have doubt since none of us have medical degrees. Can you tell me if this sounds like a legitimate panic attack?

Avatar f tn Hi I'm 39 and had a heart attack a month ago got the usual meds but not a lot of support I'm just wondering how I'm meant to feel or what everybody feels when it happens to them ?
Avatar m tn A man beside me told me that he had had a heart attack a week ago. He said that the only pain he felt was in his left arm. He also had some numbness in his arm. He went to the ER. They rushed him into the cath lab and placed a stent in one of his coronary arteries. He saved himself any real damage to the muscle of the heart, by acting on his instinct. He looked just fine to have had a heart attack a week before.
Avatar f tn Hi, im an 18 year old female I weigh about 160, my mother & sister has high blood pressure, other than that no family heart issues/attacks. For the past 4 days my left arm (upper) and my left coller bone has been aching, I wouldn't say pain.. its more like pulling a muscle feeling and also my left side of my neck, it can really feel it if I lean forward.
1798872 tn?1346164585 This is because one of the chemicals released by heart cells when they are starving for blood and oxygen during a heart attack, CK, is also released by the muscles of our body under extreme strain or inflammation (caused by extreme exercise, medications, musculoskeletal conditions which cause muscle cell damage).
Avatar n tn Hi Judy- very interesting question. You have mentioned several issues and I will address them separately. 1. Stress cardiomyopathy (CM)/"heart attack" - We see this quite often. Stress CM has several other names - "Tako Tsubo"/"broken heart"/apical-ballooning CM. It refers to a condition where (mostly) women develop chest pain after suffering some sort of emotional or physical stress, and the EKG and blood work suggest a significant heart attack.
