You can change the texture by freezing it, defrosting, and squeeeezing it out. Then it can be crumbled into any recipe calling for ground beef or turkey. I've been using a lot of crock pot recipes bc now that I am preggo I am SO exhausted by the time I get home from work and it's nice to just have dinner already prepared. For crockpot recipes, I love making chicken fajitas, sausage and peppers, and chicken and corn chowder. Also there are a lot of great healthy casserole recipes that require cooked chicken.

There is soo many different things you can do with them., My husbands favorite is wheat wrap, then spread cream cheese on it (you can do low fat), and sprinkle some garlic powder on the cream cheese, spinach leafs, then turkey, rolled up. Avatar f tn i eat tons of fruit....tons of RAW vegetables, yogurt...for meat i eat turkey sausage, turkey bacon, salmon, ground chicken and i get cheese and snacks at vitamin cottage. i like this almond jalapeno cheese, it's much better for you. i snack on whole fruit roll-ups, z bars and almond crackers. this diet plan has stuck with me long after i have been clean and it is working out great for me. i feel terrific.

Avatar f tn For protein, you can include a 3 oz can of tuna (leave sealed until time to eat), chunked chicken or turkey, cheese, etc. You can do the same thing with healthy sandwich fixings - sliced turkey, chicken, left over roast beef on whole grain bread or wraps. Pack Greek yogurt, raw veggies, fresh fruit, homemade soups that you can heat in the microwave. Any healthy leftovers that can be put in containers and microwaved. The important thing is to be sure to take them with you.

Pretty much anything you want in it. Again found simple recipes online But they both required being prepped a night before and then having to set in the fridge overnight, but then baking for not so long.
