Avatar f tn Also there are a lot of great healthy casserole recipes that require cooked chicken. I will put the chicken in the crockpot with my preferred seasonings before work, and by the time I get home, all I have to do is assemble the casserole and put it in the oven! That chicken also tastes good on a homemade salad if you start to feel too lazy for a casserole :) I hope th is helps!
21064 tn?1309308733 I love burgers but I don't like beef. turkey or chicken burgers can be just alright. I came up with a very simple chicken burger, I use ground chicken(perdue) but ground turkey works fine. 1lb ground chicken 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning, (you can add more if you like it zesty! not more than 1 tsp) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 Tbs veggie oil mix all together, let marinate in the refrig. for about an hour.

Avatar f tn Wraps! There is soo many different things you can do with them., My husbands favorite is wheat wrap, then spread cream cheese on it (you can do low fat), and sprinkle some garlic powder on the cream cheese, spinach leafs, then turkey, rolled up. Sooo good, sounds a little weird but it's really good!

1277082 tn?1344057820 Well, I don't really have any actual recipes but I do have advice for you in which it should probably help you out. For us with PCOS, it makes our bodies harder to digest simple carbs (i.e. pasta, breads, rice). So because of this, this is why we gain weight and this is why it takes so long to come off. My suggestions are as follows: Bread: whole grain, high fiber. Anything high fiber (yes it is more calories) works to your advantage, because it will make your body feel more full...

1666434 tn?1325262350 I have about 6 months left of pregnancy and already I am thinking to myself what are some new quick recipes that I can feed my boys that are healthy. I'm a wahm and I have to feed a husband, a 5 year old, and an 8 year old.
Avatar n tn Boil the chicken breast in water. Add garlic, onions, a little chicken broth, veggies if you want. Just anything to add flavor. I add lemon. And let it boil and cook. Remove everything and could keep a little juice on chicken to keep moist and flavorful. Then, with two forks mince the chicken. Add mayo. Lettuce. Celery. Cheese. (Any) Cucumber. Tomato. Or grapes. Bam. All done in 10-15 mins.
Avatar n tn Get on a healthy diet. That's it. What is healthy for a pregnant person is the same diet as a non pregnant person would eat if they want to have a healthy life. Just during pregnancy no raw food deli n a few other things. Limit fish also. But other than that low fat n minimal junk food. Stick with chicken n salads. Fruits n white rice etc.
Avatar f tn For protein, you can include a 3 oz can of tuna (leave sealed until time to eat), chunked chicken or turkey, cheese, etc. You can do the same thing with healthy sandwich fixings - sliced turkey, chicken, left over roast beef on whole grain bread or wraps. Pack Greek yogurt, raw veggies, fresh fruit, homemade soups that you can heat in the microwave. Any healthy leftovers that can be put in containers and microwaved. The important thing is to be sure to take them with you.

If you enter your search term under the SEARCH THIS COMMUNITY area, directly above the RECENT ACTIVITY sidebar on the right side of the screen, you will find some great holiday recipes. (many people do not know how to search specific communities, that's the reason I mentioned this) Change up your search terms, too.
