Avatar f tn Eliminate temptation from your house and go over your diet plan you shouldn't starve yourself but eat small meals to maintain good metabolism,try almonds and a lot of water,loosing 13 pounds will require a lot of exercise just think what you do to loose it and if having a chocolate is worth taking two steps away from your goal just for 5 seconds of taste, apple taste great too!
1428239 tn?1333457053 During my first trimester, I didnt gain any weight (but I didnt lose any, which is awesome given that meals were skipped after vomitting, etc.) The issue for me (since i know alot of people dont gain weight in the first trimester) is that I am actually underweight to start.. .i am probably only 5-10 pounds underweight. I have always been really small... I have weight between 95 lbs and 100 lbs since highschool.. I am currently 100 lbs (im only 5'1-5'2).

Any major changes to your diet and exercise should be discussed with him/her prior to beginning, but there are some simple things you can do to get started. Bread, chips and water could be why you have the constant nausea/vomiting. Try to incorporate some lean meats, veggies and fruits, along with low/no fat dairy such as milk, yogurt, cheeses, etc...........Whole grains, beans, etc will provide both protein and fiber.

Avatar f tn Walk EVERYDAY - eat an apple and drink a glass of water 20 minutes before each meal - and of course, choose healthy meals. If You must have a snack, apples are great. They are sweet, juicy, cold and refreshing and very, very good for You, and they come in a variety of taste.

Avatar f tn My favorite things to snack on are pretzels with hummus, grapes, popcorn, pineapple chunks, deviled eggs, and then chicken noodle soup is always nice. (You can even get can pineapple and put it in the freezer for an hour or so.. frozen pineapple is delicious!) tuna with crackers, etc.. Do you cook? You should look on pinterest for healthy food/snack ideas. I dealt with bulimia 7years ago and always hated the shame that came with it.. I feel for you and pray you get control of it. For me..

I am 23 weeks along and my days of throwing up were done by week 12. But I have heard of woman who are sick their entire pregnancy. Hope everything is okay. Keep us updated.

Avatar f tn s when the blood sugar dips that you tend to get hungry between meals. Including healthy fats like olive oil in your meals will also help you go longer until you need a snack. Out of curiosity, how did you lose the weight? And congrats, BTW.

Avatar f tn I decided to go on the 3 meals and two snacks and its workednout good so far. my doc said if I start to get hungry you can break it down to several smaller meals throughout the day. I also walk 2-3 miles on an average of 4 days out ofnthe week sometimes more. I lost 4 lbs my first trimester and im now aboit 15 and half weeks and have not gained any weight so far. I wont lie I dont deprive myself of the cravings but I never overdo it.

I have a rather large freezer and love to cook big on the weekend to put up things for lunch and dinner so that I wont have to cook when I am hungry and wanting to eat! I try to cook healthy and just bought the book of "200 under 200". The author is "The Hungry Girl". I use lots of her recipes and also watch "Cook Yourself Thin" on TV and have used some of their recipes.
