Avatar n tn mo healthnet? Isn't that Mo Medicaid? If it is then you probably just need to find a doctor that accepts medicaid and I don't see why they won't pay...
543182 tn?1214188144 re are a few insurances that will take coverage for TMJ. At the time I finally went to Healthnet Insurance and they covered for tmj. I believe Bluecross and Blueshield now covers for tmj but you need to be referred by a primary physician. Healthnet is the same. What I did was find a tmj specialist who knew what primary physician (who was on the insurance carrier list) would refer me to him. And that worked for me.
Avatar n tn The problem is, that I am limited to only 12 doctors because of my Healthnet HMO. I I have tried to get info via telephone but have not had much luck? Any advice would be appreciated.
Avatar f tn 1. Picking the IOL power is not an exact science and an error of + / - 0.50 is the rule, larger in cases of long, short or post RK or lasik eyes. 2. A fixed focus lens is just that if you set if for distance 0.00 refractive error you will not be able to see intermediate or near. 3. You should probably resign yourself to wearing progressive bifocals at least some of the time post surgery. 4.
Avatar n tn Welcome fellow CA girl! Sorry to hear you are going through the chills and tyroid problems. I go to Healthnet HMO and sometimes have problems getting to see a dr. when I need to. How about the ER? Do you think they would do anything? I know when I have problems with my HMO, I complain online and wow do they respond! Also you can call them and complain about your situation. Perhaps they will send you to another group out of your immediate area for tx. Good luck! Glad you posted!

The historian Henry Adams was being metaphorical, not medical, when he described power as “a sort of tumor that ends by killing the victim’s sympathies.” But that’s not far from where Dacher Keltner, a psychology professor at UC Berkeley, ended up after years of lab and field experiments.
518798 tn?1295212279 Is it just me, or have you guys noticed that when you give someone just a little authority, it totally goes to their head and they get on a major power trip? I encounter people all the time who are given just a little bit of control over something and they feel like God. This is something that really bothers me. I try to treat people with the respect they deserve, but sometimes they make it really difficult.
Avatar f tn I would do what feels right for you. If you aren't comfortable with getting induced and there's no risk to the baby then I wouldnt do it. In the end it is your decision and you're the one that has to live with that decision. Do what you're comfortable with!
Avatar f tn I also am trying to make this type of decision, with the exception that mine is with my knee. the way it was described to me is that with a fusion, you will no longer be able to bend/straighten the joint, but you also will no longer have pain since you're not able to move the joint to create the pain.
Avatar f tn If he doesnt want a child, thats his decision. And it will be his decision once again if he walks away. If you want this baby, you have this baby. You can give this baby all the love they need on your very own. He needs to man up. If he didnt want another child he should have been using the proper protection to avoid another baby. Good luck sweetie. All the best. Please dont let his feelings hinder your decision. If you get rid of this baby, itll be the worst decision youve ever made.
Avatar m tn When I was admitted to the hospital, one of the many forms they wanted me to sign was something about giving them "power of attorney". Thinking that meant I was signing over all decision making to them, I refused to sign it. Did the POA mean what I think it meant? Or is it dumb to refuse to sign it? Sorry of this posted in the wrong area!
Avatar f tn The difficulty herein lies, that she is on Med-Cal, healthnet. Firstly, I am looking for physician who has heard of this, and takes Med-Cal. She has been shuffled to doctors, dentists, and they state they have never heard of such a thing. Guess they haven't heard of the internet. The initial diagnosis was made by a dentist checking her for TMJ. It seems to me, that a learning facility/University would be interested in something like this. Can anyone recommend someone in California.
Avatar f tn i think if i were you i would chat to your mum about it and go to a lawyer together and get a power of attourney in your name. i would do this asap, so that your mums wishes are respected and it will stop the enevitable feuding with your siblings if this is not in place. i know its a difficult topic to bring up but it seems the only safe way forward.
Avatar f tn t matter what heath plan others have (Blue Cross, Blue Shield, HealthNet, etc...) because each of those have a BUNCH of different plans with different benefits coverage. Do you mean you have a DEDUCTIBLE of $3000 to pay and THEN your ins covers 90%. If so, check with your healthplan if you have an out-of-pocket (OOP) maximum as well. That is the maximum amount you'll pay (usually in addition to the deductible) before your ins will start covering 100%.
Avatar m tn I'm seriously considering using a surgeon that wants to implant a 3 piece alcon IOL because the 1 piece doesn't come in a power low enough for me to be corrected to his target of -.5 The lens power is +4.5 I've heard that 1 piece IOLs are easier to implant than 1 piece. True or not? A 1 piece alcon with a +6 power is what the other surgeon I'm considering wants to use which will correct me to approx. - 1.

Long before the season of baby-kissing and caucus-going begins in early primary states, a no less decisive series of contests is playing out among the potential 2016 contenders along a trail that traces the cold-weather destinations of the wealthy and private-jet-equipped.
8377023 tn?1399509160 So the whole neighborhood is in a complete and utter power outage for no reason. Its midnight and I can't sleep like this, especially in this heat. Plus my closet has the stupid box for the alarm and tv and all that other stuff and its now going off. I gotta be up at five thirty.
Avatar n tn My daughter has been detected with cylindrical power. She will be six years old in March 2008. The details of her eye power is R E - SPH - CYL -1.5 Axis 180 degree VA 6/9 L E - SPH 0.75 CYL - 2.75 Axis 20 degree VA 6/12 Kindly let me know how to reduce this disorder, if possible.
Avatar f tn Initially I was diagnosed of spherical power but later it was detected cylindrical. Now I have been told that with regular usage of specs my eye power will remain stagnant. However it is not the case. Even after regular use of specs the power has increased over the past two years and I experience extreme pain around my eyes, head and shoulders. Am I going wrong somewhere?
