well I think unless your partner is a pos blood type then you should be alright, but even if he is they have a shot they can give you to prevent antibodies from forming.

re o- you need them as we produce antibodies against the + rh factor. O- is the universal donor so any other blood group wont produce antibodies against the - factor.

You shouldnt need another before conception as the one you had will have prevented your blood making antibodies against the + factor. You will need them during a pregnancy though, especially if you have a bleed.
