I worked for a major health insurance company for years and the biggest mistake you can make is not calling them in advance. I also recommend finding out what options you have for permanent coverage for your baby.

okay, as silly as this sounds I'm having a hard time filling it out. I know depending on which hospital you go to they might range in which information they're asking for. Well, this one has for me to state my Primary insurance plan and my Secondary insurance plan. So is that like, health insurance? And who the policy holders name is. I've just never filled one out and I need help understanding it.

I applied for insurance about a month ago but have still heard nothing back. Health department only does blood tests to confirm pregnancy and all other doctors here require you to pay up front. I feel fine, other than normal pregnancy symptoms. Haven't had any pain or bleeding.. but what should I do? Insurance could take another month or so to come through. Simply cannot afford to pay up front for ultrasound, dr. Appointment and blood work which is estimated at around $500 for everything.

Im 26 weeks tommorrow I have an ultrasound on Tuesday we just got new health insurance effective on the 1st but dont have a card yet the ultrasound is at the imagining center at the hospital im hoping that I can still have my ultrasound hopefully they can look it up? So I just received a bill in the mail of 470 from May about the STD tests they do in the beginning and the culture that they do. asking up front if they take insurance may help...those that do take insurance r less likely to be in it for the dollars..course if u start up with a new dr u may have to pay those beginning fees again..kinda steep...and u have asked this dr to help u taper? and u can always taper urself..plenty of people on here can help and getting down to 4 mgs..and even 2 mgs is usually not so hard..it is getting down from there that people have probs with..

Hi! This ask is a little tmi but I don't know where else to turn until my new health insurance card comes in. For the past few weeks, I've been noticing that my labia majora has had swelling in certain spots resulting in hard, lump like formations. First I noticed it on one side but then it went away and now I have a lump on each side and one is very hard and painful. My vagina is also very itchy all of the time.

What a waste of container space.... What an excessive cost to our medical trash removal...
