Does anyone know about the scarring after-effects of accutane? I've read several reports of scarring left after it's use. I'm sure that scars are to be expected, as with any open wound, but I don't know if these reports are by anyone with abnormalities with healing/scarring. Here is the situation...
I have mild, maybe slightly moderate acne. I get keloids on other parts of my body, but thankfully not my face. I still get abnormal facial scarring though.

Will this prevent the scar from healing? Is this part of the healing process? It burns when I put any products on it and when I touch the area. It has been over a week since I first had the mark, but usually my scars don't get irritated so easily after a week. They are usually gone by then. Should I be worried that this might never fade? I also peeled the dried layer off when the pimple dried up. Was it just a really deep pimple and it needs more time to heal than the others?
Oh I had another quick question. I know that new scars/wounds are really sensitive to sun as the skin healing is not nearly strong enough. However, I see a lot of sun screens warn not to put on "broken skin". I imagine this is skin that is still in the bleeding phase, not in the collagen/scar building phase? I'm wondering if sunscreen is harsh even though it seems pretty necessary to put on? I use Olay's sensitive SPF 30 currently which has zinc oxide.

Yeah, try Conchar Nacar. It's a latin mask made from oyter shell. Great stuff. Use it like 2x a week. It will also help impurities on your skin. Make sure that you mix it before applying. It's a weird texture and looks like oatmeal when you put it on. But I have always used for a mask.

Resembling sinus-tracts are ice pick scars that are atrophic scars remaining after acne. They are deep with a very narrow skin opening and extend into the dermis. The skin looks as if it has a small, deep "hole" in it. They develop after an infected cyst or other deep lesion causes tissue destruction during the healing process and results in a column like scar. Such scars can be treated with punch excision or punch grafting.
If there was pus inside the pimple, it is likely it was an acne lesion. Never pop or squeeze any skin lesion in any way. If it is an acne spot you will spread the bacteria under the skin leading to more spots. You can also cause secondary infection making diagnosis harder.

As for and my brother were exacly the same so Idk about that and as for my family on my mom side a bunch of my aunts and my mom have scars but my scars are differant colour my moms is her skin colour xept a bit darker mine are like dark redpurpleish colour but maybe because im half white and my mom is a filipina and as for my diet im pretty sure I have a good diet I like never eat anythinb bad

i was given this monocyline Hcl 100mg with cream which has this oleanolic acid formula.is this cream for acne scars or acne?or for both?i have been using both tablet and cream for 20 days.i didn't see much of the change in fadeness of scars or maybe it takes time.please let me know what is this cream exactly for.
