Watching Heidi Fleiss was really sad.. I saw her on celebrity rehab where she retreated to the desert with a bunch of parrots! It was so sad bc you could see how much pain she was in.

I have still yet to be diagnosed, have been to Houston, Miami, Minnesota, and live in Louisiana where I have also been seen by doctors. On my lasts venture to Minnesota, I was told I have a Macula Dysfunction, not degeneration.
I am 63, have had 20 20 vision my entire life, and within the last year started losing my vision and now am legally blind. I have many symptoms, flashing lights is just one, but it is the center vision that is gone. My eyes and retina are completely healthy.
Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it.
Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?
I was in rehab for the first time in March. Was only there for 2 weeks because I found out I was pregnant about a week into treatment. They tested me when I got there but the results didn't come back until 7 days into treatment. I was already out of detox. So I chose to stay clean and not get back on anything. They wanted to put me back on methadone which is what they used to wean me off the oxy contin.
It all depends on the person. What do you think is best for you?
After my husband was out of the inpatient rehab center he was sent to a HealthSouth Out Patient center. They were wonderful. They worked with my husband three days a week (speech, occupational and physical) and he has improved considerably. The outpatient therapy lasted about 2 months and now my husband is basically doing everything himself. Only thing I have to do is remind him to take his pills.
Can you recomend a center? The only one I have read about is the Mayo in MInnesota, but Although the Mayo is large I'm not sure about this center...
She finally admitted that she was hooked and needed help. We got her into a rehab center to hopefully get off them, so we can save our marriage. It is just as hard on me with her not being here becasue she is my best friend and we had our routine of drinking coffee and talking about anything that we want, and it was so depressing to wake up and not see my best friend laying next to me. I was wondering what it is like in rehab.
Where in Minnesota? I know a lady that works with needy families and moms in the St.Paul area. I could try to get ahold of her and get some info for you.
I had a jones tube put in my left eye on sept 25. What a mess I had the procedure in Hazelton Pa. I ended up at Wills eye emergency room where the pressure was up tp 39 and they kept me 6 hours giving drops to get the pressure down. Teh tube had been in 12 days and was intense pain. The next day I traveled back and had the tube removed instead of going where my insurance was covered. Now my eye is very red swollen and the water rolls down the middle of my face.
Rehab people are now very pessimistic regarding his recovery, but he had been making progress before. We are concerned that they let him get dehydrated in the Rehab center and this has also caused some kidney issues as of today.
Has anyone had any experience with this type situation? Did clots resolve on their own?
Should we look at moving my dad to another hospital that deals more with stroke complications?
Should we be upset that he got dehydrated in rehab center?
The recommended ¼” wedges in all my shoes, so I added them to all my footwear. It being into the ugly season in Minnesota, there was very little walking (a couple weekly aqua exercise classes) into January 2023.
Went to Florida to photograph birds and spent my time walking in swamps and such. Some right knee pain developed, but not enough to keep me restricted. Used ice, Voltaren, acetaminophen, and took a day off as needed.
i went along with my friend today who we found out injected drugs - we had to go to some kind of rehab center where i guess there are many other drug addicts, anyways while sitting there i dropped my pen - so started to try and find it under the chair, whilst doing so i felt a poke- looked at my hand and saw a tiny red dot! i didn't think much of it could have been a pin or something - but then i though what if in fact it was a needle attached to a syringe etc.
I would start by telling him/her about her addiction so that s/he can refer her to an inpatient rehab center. When she is done with rehab, she can go to Narcotics Anon meetings, and see/do whatever else they recommend at the rehab center.
Now, there are doctors that specialize in addiction and pain management, but it really seems like she needs to get into rehab...fast.
Hopefully others with more experience will chime in.
