I would have waited until you knew the gender at least unless the booties were gender nuetral then nah you are good
We waited 10 weeks after hysterectomy before having sex and it was still uncomfortable for a while with some bleeding too. It's not so bad now but I don't often reach orgasm now and when I do it feels different somehow.
What you describe could be a vaginal vault prolapse. This happens sometimes after hysterectomy and means that the top of the vagina is collapsing downward. Depending on what part of the vagina is collapsing, it can take the bladder and urethra; rectum; or a loop of small or large intestine with it. Please do whatever you can to get in with your gynecologist, and tell your husband he has to stop if he meets with an obstruction. And no more rough stuff!

This sounds like water retention. It could be something else though. Give your Dr a call as soon as you can to find out what's going on. You should not be having the bloating and swelling.
I bled for 6 months after my TVH (total vag. hysterectomy) everytime Dh and I had sex. Turns out I had ALOT of granulation tissue. I had to have silver nitrate treatments several times and the finally used some super numbing spray (I think they called it Hurricane spray) and clipped away a big piece of granulation tissue. That definately helped. Funny thing is, the last time I bled after sex I bled alot. But I haven't bled since and that was 1.5 yrs ago.

I had severe pain during intercourse for years and all the doctors I saw said it was because I had bad scar tissue from having my doctor. Due to having irregular periods all my life, we decided I need to have a hysterectomy. When having the vaginal ultrasound prior to the surgery, I learned that my uterous was full of cysts and that it was tilted so far back that that is what was causing all my pain. Since having the hysterectomy I have been pain free during intercourse.
Is it at all possible to know you're pregnant 3 days after having sex because I have been having small changes in my body that havnt been happening. I am hoping to be a soon to be mommy, I just want to know if It's too soon for me to feel anything.
I think you have to decide for you. I had one at 32 yr. old and was just miserable for several months prior. I felt sooo much better after the hysterectomy! I didn't realize until after how much trouble a uterus and ovaries could cause. Goodluck!
I'am a 45 yr old female who had a partial hysterectomy about 6yrd ago,when i have sex iit hurts. Its does depend on the postion we are doing,but it is very uncomforable. Never had this problem before until the surgery. I went to the doctor last year they advise i had a small cyst on the left ovary. Some time wheni have sex i feel like the pain is and front of my stomach,or it feel like its and the butt when i know its not.
Just curious if anyone else in this forum after having hysterectomy was having nightmares every night right after the surgery?
I seem to be having VERY vivid, strange, scary, and weird nightmares since having my surgery. It's not just once a night, it's more like two, three times a night. Sometimes I wake up crying and sometimes I wake up screaming and yelling. These are so bad that I am almost afraid to go to sleep at night now.
and also within the first week of me having it removed i had sex and my partner *** slightly inside me but i went straight to bathroom and had a shower etc and I think that it all came out. If there is a chance that it didnt and I "Might" be pregnant then how soon should I do a test baring in mind this was 2 weeks ago.
I have a 2 and a 3 year old same birthday just a year apart and now we're having baby #3 in may so that would make my last baby and this one about 2 1/2 years apart. I got alot of negative comments about having our fist one since my husband and I found out we were having a baby just 6 months after we got married and then negative comments with baby #2 because I got pregnant 4 months after having her now I'm getting negative comments because we're having another baby.
