having sex right after your period

it was a day after my cycle stopped that was the only time I had sex was the day after my period. Having unprotected sex at anytime is risky for anything pregnancies, STD's, STI's, HIV & AIDS have safe protected sex & always talk to someone or your doctor.

I read somewhere on here on a different post tgat having sex right after your period can actually restart your cycle or make your period restart or come back or something like that. How true is this? Or is it true at all, and when is tge best time to be intimate if planning for a baby? My cycles have been out of whack lately, so pinpointing ovulation day has been really difficult. I've tried everything. please help!

Are you having sex on your period? Or am I reading it wrong. You don't get pregnant that way you have to have sex when you ovulate most woman ovulate 14 days after period started.. some woman ovulate differently..

I'm 23 weeks & 3days. I had sex yesterday, I saw a good bit of blood right after..so I had to wipe a couple of times before the bleeding slowed down. I went to go get pads but only see little spots of blood (not like it was before). But it has been no bleeding at all today. The amount of blood at the time scared me but it hasn't started since.

Very unlikely it all depends on when you ovulate but i cant see you concieving the day before your period it tends to be atleast ten days after but all women and there cycles vary

Hubby and I decided to ttc and I went off birth control when I was suposed to get my period. My period usually starts 4 days after stopping bc. We had lots of sex and a week later, still no period.

m assuming I got pregnant on Nov 24th but just a little confused cuz its not as close to the middle of my cycle. N e body else get pregnant right after your period and before ovulation?

I always get cramping right before ovulation and a little bit of spotting as well. I would say that right now is not a good time to be having unprotected sex if you are ovulating and not trying to get pregnant. If you are trying to get pregnant this is a great time. I don't think it would be pregnancy at this point but do a pregnancy test if your period is late.

if your cycle is normal 28 days long, then you got to have sex midway between your two periods...and then test when your next period is already late. the order has to be : period > sex > missed period > preg test.

I have never heard of it happening but i wouldnt put it past myself that it could happen. My husband and I had sex right after i was done bleeding and he did *** in me because we thought we were still pregnant. And that went on for a week until i had an appointment saying that my HCG was a one. I dont know what to think....

it could just be that he was too rough. however i have heard that sex close to your period can bring it on quicker.

In total about 4-6 weeks, which is part of the reason you should be be having sex right after. Locgia rubra is the first stage, very similar to a period it's blood red in color and can last 3-5 days, lochia serosa is the second stage which usually continues for another 3-5 days after that and the discharge is more pinkish tinged, lochia alba is the final stage which can last until 6 weeks after delivery and the discharge is white.

You will not know at all when you will next ovulate and remember that sperm lives for up to a week as well so you can become pregnant having sex a week before you ovulate. So, use protection if you are not wishing to get pregnant the next couple of months. But expect that you will have this bleeding, then no period for a while or erratic bleeding, every woman is different and reacts to the hormones a bit differently that are in Plan B. But it is all normal after taking it.

I was told after my d&c to wait until I had a regular period before trying again.. That way my body would have time to get back to normal and be ready to carry a baby when I tried again.

I never had this and it is my understanding that it is light bleeding rather than heavy like a period is, but some women DO report having this. The bleeding after ovulating (if your OV test was accurate, I had trouble with those)---- would NOT be your actual period as there is biology involved in how long it takes to ovulate, for hormones to determine there is no egg and then the lining to be shed. So, unless you ovulated twice, that would not be your period.

In my experience, and a couple other women I talked to, they also found that having sex right before 'get's' you your period. Like, often they have PMS, and they are waiting, and waiting, and then having intercourse does the trick. of course I have no evidence for that, but I thought it was an interesting observation.

You can get pregnant at any point, even on your period. But the percentage is higher around 2 weeks after your period.

Yes it can, it is possible to get pregnant within a month. But maybe sure it was really your period b/c I'm still having m/c bleeding since my m/c on Feb 22. For me it's hard to tell since i bled on and off.

Hi, The best time to get preganant is 14 days AFTER your period and have sex for three days straight. So lets say your period was on the 1st, you would be having sex on the 15th, 16th and 17th. Good luck!

I started having white discharge right after my period ended, and this has never occured to me before, usually after my period ends i dont have discharge at all until about 7 days and its usually clear in color... I took a blood test a few days back and it came out negative.....but i still feel like there is something going on...and i still have the discharge up to now...has this ever occured to anyone??...I am currently married and have been TTC...Please i need your advice...

t know about this one yet) and so far with them I have gotten my first period within 5-8 weeks after delivery even though I was breasfeeding (my first one i had to pump because of him being premature) I always thoght it sucked as your first period after baby is usually a harder period atleast in my experience! I would definitely be using something though if you don't want another one right now, because it can happen!

iv been trying for a baby now for over 3months, now that i have actually started my periods again after having an implant. for about 14months my periods did not come.... iv heard by someone that having sex and not getting pregnant causes problems for a womans womb... is this true or not??? could there be any problems when having sex and not getting pregnant?
