When is it safe to have anal sex after having an appendectomy? It has been almost 3 weeks now and I would really like to play with my anus. Also why would I have trouble getting toys deep in my ***? it really upsets me and my girlfriend.

I have heard so many horror stories about sex after the surgery. I hear that its just the most awful thing ever. I am really scared by that. Can someone plz tell me this is not so. I am still too early in my surgery to even consider sex but I just wanna know. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on July 8th. And stay hungry alot for some reason. And I also have severe bloating in my stomach and always passing gas. There is also still a lil drainage but other then that I am fine.

It is a shame you are having to wait for surgery but good it is coming up fairly soon. Are they going to remove just the cyst (cystectomy) leaving your ovary (or at least as much ovarian tissue as possible)? I had an ovarian cyst that the frozen section showed was benign but they removed all my sex organs anyway. What type of cyst do you have and what are your surgeon's plans? Recovery will depend on the method of surgery as well as what is removed.

I personally had sex 2 weeks after my c section. I know it was way earlier than what the docs said. They said to wait for the clear at my 6week post check up. I didn't wait. I didn't have any problems having sex that early. I don't recommend it though since everybody is different especially healing wise.

do you lose your sex drive after a hysterctomy???? I am for sure having my uterus taken out...not sure what else they will decide when they go in. I am having a Lap Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy. They will check my ovaries and tubes when they go in to decide if they are healthy or need to come out. So...either way...uterus only...or ovaries too...do you lose your sex drive???? I have been in pain for so long that it has already affected my sex life...
