Would anything happen if you were to take the day after pill even after having sex using a condom just in case? Let's say sex was safe but you still decide to take the pill, would anything happen?

The morning after pill is only good up to 120 hours after unprotected sex, any time after that, you will just have to wait and see... And it should jump start your body into getting your period almost immediately to a few days after being used. I have used it once before many years ago, be careful... It has different effects on different women's bodies and it screwed mine up BAD. Get on birth control if you don't want a pregnancy.

This doesn't sound right but doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. It sounds like your hormones are just out of wack. The pill you took, was it PlanB - what you take the day after having sex? That shouldn't make your period come early. You should call your doctor to get things straigtened out but don't be worried.

I believe you can take the morning after pill up to 72 hours after sex and it will still be somewhat effective. As mentioned above it's not 100% so I would follow up with a pregnancy test eventually to be sure.
