On my right hand, just above my wrist there's a hard lump in my hand. Everyone says it's cos i'm so skinny & that my bones show but no one else has it there and my mum says she doesnt think that it's a bone. What could this be??
Was seeing a gastroenterologist at the time for coeliacs who examined the lump and said it was a lipoma. GP also confirmed this. Now I have a lump within the breast on the same side, similar consistency (oval and reasonably hard but malleable) and am very worried. Am getting a mammogram on Monday, and the GP who referred me was confident that the lump did not have the usual characterisitics that would give cause for concern, but referred me for peace of mind.
I found a lump in the bottom of my throat on the right hand side. It is slightly smaller than a marble and slightly tender. It moves up and down when I swallow. I have no thyroid symptoms. I I went to the doctor today and he said that the lump was a vascular formation?
That makes no sense to me. It seems rather large to be a vascular. How could he tell the difference between vascular and a thyroid nodule?
Hard painful lum noted on top left hand below wrist and in line with index and middle finger. Very painful when bumped and with flexion. Pain with burning, throbbing to wrist, hand, and fingers as well. Same bump on right hand but not painful at present. Bump is firm and feels like bone. Any thoughts what it could be?
Had a right shock in the shower yesterday. Found a hard painless lump in my scrotum, on what I first thought was my left testicle. It's quite firm, not sure I'd say 'rock hard', but harder than my testicles. I had felt some dull aching a week or two back, but other than that haven't had any symptoms that would lead me to check. I check intermittently anyways, so that makes me think it's arrived relatively quickly.
Thank you ! Is it harder to detect a lump in someone that has fibriods? Maybe if they are reduced it makes it easier to detect what the real issue ...or lump...is?????? I can definately tell a difference in the lump under my arm & lumps in my breasts. They feel different. Any thoughts????
A few months back my left ear started itching on the top ridge and back of ear. At first it was minor itching, then it became horribly itchy and I noticed there were hard lumps IN my ear. You cannot even see them, you can only feel them, they are like bb's and they are in the back of my ear and on the ridge. I also noticed over time that my left ear was always HOT. And another problem is that despite how itchy it is, it HURTS if i scrach even a little hard.
I have this lump in my lower left gums, right where my Molars start. It is a hard lump that moves slightly but then goes right back to its original spot. It's not white or anything, and there is no pain. This might also be helpful: My lower gums on that side seem to be a really hard swollen towards the teeth region. my boyfriend is showing signs of herpes ha has loads of blisters and we both really hurt when we urinate, is it possible i have herpes but dont have the blisters maybe this hard lump is something about to start!? im absolutely terriffied of having blisters! it better not turn into that ****..what is it?
I have the EXACT same thing wrong with me and I found it by going to rest my chin on my hand one day. Same thing it seems hard almost like a bone malformation tender when I am messing with it and does swell little from time to time. I just noticed this a month ago... I am going to do some more research and go have it looked at when I get health insurance from my new job. I am the same though.. healthy, fit and active 28 year old female.
I have a hard lump. About the size of a jelly bean. I'm in pain with it. It's actually inside of my clit. There is no color to it. I can't touch it. And now my whole clit is swollen. It's starting to looking like it's getting a little bruising to it as well on top of that one stop.
What I can suggest is that you ask for X-ray of the hand or a CT scan or ultrasound to find out whether the lump is in the soft tissues or in the bone or joint. If the lump is in soft tissues it could be a scar tissue or a ganglion cyst or a localized collection of fat. If it is from bone, then probably the alignment has not worked.

Hi. Can you give additional descriptions of that lump? Is it painful or tender to touch? Is the skin around it firm and red? It's hard for me to say what that lump in your scrotal sac is, since I haven't actually seen it. The scrotal sac has a lot of ridges, and it could just be that. It could also be an infected hair follicle. If it's bothering you, you should go to a doctor and have it properly examined.
