Avatar m tn Would he have learned anything in prison, something like rehabilitation? Probably not, but at least he would have been incarcerated and not able to be involved with this. Where do situations like this leave us? This kid didn't learn anything from his first scrape with the law. Chances are, this won't be his last either. He'll do some time for this, but when he gets out his gang will give him "props" and he will have garnered more respect from his fellow gang members.
1508698 tn?1360215710 Hi all!! I am looking into going to a outpatient rehabilitation center. I was wondering if anyone here has ever gone, what all it included, if you liked it, and the price. Just wanted some input from people who have gone so I will know what to expect.
Avatar n tn He now has scoliosis because of poor posture, massive headaches and ear aches, hallucinations, and other problems due to being depressed and given up. We really want to find a home where he can be among people with the same rehabilitation challenges. It would be ideal if the home offered psychologist and a physical therapist; however, even if the home had one or the other it would be better than his situation right now. He just sits at home doing nothing.
Avatar f tn All of these are issues but not sure what are the biggest concerns when it comes to getting the additional days in rehabilitation approved.
Avatar f tn My 87 year old father-in-law suffered from several strokes 10 days ago. It took the hospital a few days to diagnosis it as a stroke. At first, they thought it was an infection. He has slow growing cancer and Parkinsons. They think the stroke was cause by atrial fibrillation. I am assuming they were ischemic strokes. He can not swallow and is at risk of aspiration. He can not talk but but has grunted occasionally, like when I brought art work from my toddler twins.

I am aware of the neuropsyhiatry and the test and everything. I want to make sure she gets the right treatment and doesnt waste these 6 months. Thats why I am asking her so I can make the deference between truth and real. I am looking around until I find the doctor that gives me the correct questions.

649848 tn?1534633700 Things were not working out at the facility she was in, so on Friday, we had to move her to another one. She has a ways to go, but we are hoping that her rehabilitation will go more smoothly now. The worst part about moving Auntie is that she's much further from our house than she was, so visiting her daily is going to more difficult. We may have to cut back on our visits; only go a few times/week vs daily.
