iv been doing alot of looking on the internet about this sort of thing. there is a cough syrup called Robitussin (guaifenesin cough syrup) i know it sounds stupid because it is cough syrup, but as it has guaifenesin in it, it clears not only the mucas on your chest but also makes your cervical mucas thinner and runnier so the seman can swim through better. look it up on google. but make sure you get the one with guaifenesin in it as the other ones can dry up the cervical mucas .

It is used while TTC to thin the CM to make it more sperm-friendly. 1-2 tsp. twice daily about six days before suspected ovulation day until the thermal shift. Hi Everyone, Somewhere along the line I think I came across an article suggesting the some types of cough mixtures are also good for improving cervical mucus production. Am I mis-remembering this? My CM got very scarce towards the end of my 6mths of clomid. I am not sure why and am wondering if there is any way to reverse this. I would love to know if the cough mixture story in my head has any basis in fact. I had always thought that cough mixtures were to dry up mucus and stop runny noses!

I've had asthma since I was little, and as far as I've gathered, expectorant is for non-asthmatic cough sufferers while mucolytics are for asthmatics. Is this true? What's confusing me though is why "guaifenesin", a component in one asthma pill I used to take, is used as an "expectorant", and the only OTC drug available for the purpose of easing the removal of phlegm here in the U.S.

The robitussin is for a chesty cough and contains only GUAIFENESIN.I bought it from boots the chemist and it was in a red box.But i know there are other cough medicines that have Guaifenesin out there and are considerably cheaper,but i decided to stick with robitussin.If i need more i will try the cheaper option next time maybe(hoping there wont be a next time though).

For the past two and a half weeks I have had a cough. For the first week or so it was just a small cough, then it developed into coughing fits. For the past week the cough has led to nosebleeds, at least once a day, and vomiting, but only the once. The cough produces white-ish phlegm and a lot of spit. It is hard to breathe whilst getting rid of the spit. During the night I wake up once or twice to cough and this often leaves me dry heaving.

The doc said it was a virus with Eustachian tube dysfunction . Sge put me on Flonase The sore throat went awar but was left with a persistent cough for a week . I would wake up and it was so hard to swallow because the Mucus in my throat was so sick. After the cough subside I started to have throat pain again when I wake up then it would proceed to get better during the day and then towards the end of the day it's uncomfortable to say the least .

i guess it works different for everyone, it does not help you get more cm, all it does is thin out the cm you already produce. I used it last cycle but i didnt notice my cm to be any thinner.

if u feel like u have mucus get some guaifenesin that will clear u out and help with the cough as well. also have u taken your temp to make sure u don't have TEMP.

I am not sure if this works or if this is a coincidence but I have to say the two times I used it I got pregnant. Try taking cough syrup. Just get the pain ole Robitussin with guaifenesin. Don't get it with any other active ingredients. The guaifenesin is the ingredient to loosen mucus. We generally use it for chest congerstion but it also loosens our lower region's mucus wich in turn help aid the sperm to its final goal...your egg.

U guys taken it before for cough? I have a Lil bit of cough and snots so yeah. Is it safe? To be specific its dextmetheophan/guaifenesin. How far along are you when you took it? I'm 33 weeks BTW. Ty mommas!
