What type of ovu test are you using? I find the 2 line test hard to read sometimes, so I usually use the digital ones with the smily face that way there is no confusion. The alternative is guaifenesin, which you can buy over-the-counter. Mucinex contains guaifenesin, but I would get the plain guaifenesin. It works very well.

I do know you only need the plain kind, nothing else should be in it just guaifenesin. If you get the one with that is mixed it can have the opposite reaction. Has anyone ever gotten guaifenesin with codeine prescribe. Want to know feed back on it I'm 12+4 days. Help please trying to get rid of this plhuem I had still. But kinda un sure.

Have you tried products containing Guaifenesin? This incredient thins secretions and is found in Mucinex (pricey) and products like that - BUT, if you can find a generic or plain Guaifenesin, you will save tons of money. You need to drink plenty of water for Guaifenesin to work. You may need to sleep with your head propped up temporarily, until [hopefully soon] you are well again. Good luck. Can Mucinex (Guaifenesin) cause gastritis or irritate existing gastritis/ulcer? I was taking Mucinex for 5 days, 400mg once a day, and now my stomach is bothering me (burning pain). Hi i can confirm that the cough syrup is robitussin chesty cough medicine that contains (guaifenesin) only.Its in a red and black box.I have never noticed my cervical mucus ever before and this was my first month on clomid.I took robitussin every morning and evening (5ml dose).You only take it after AF has ended and stop when you ovulate.I drank a glass of grapefruit juice every morning as its supposed to help CM too.

This helps calm the effects of allergy drainage, which can upset the stomach and cause a sore throat. The other thing I do is take 1200 mg. guaifenesin (Mucinex or generic), once in the morning and again at bedtime. This thins mucus so that it *will* drain, also allowing the throat more moisture.
