I noticed 2-3 weeks after I began the pill that I had heavier vaginal discharge that was light green in colour. It was thicker than usual (creamy green) but there was no itching or burning. A slight smell when I lean in close (I'm not sure whether I can call it fishy...).
It went away after I stopped the pill for my period, but a few days after I began the pill again for my second month, it came back.
It's very possible that the bleeding is related to the tampon use... during the last days of our cycles, there's obviously less menstrual flow. So, my guess is that that ripping feeling could be a result of the dry tampon fibers tugging at the delicate interior lining of a vaginal wall that now has less moisture. And, it would make sense that there would be some bleeding and pain accompanying that tugging and pulling. Personally, I never use tampons for the reasons that you described.
When I removed the tampon Thursday evening, the discharge was a green/yellow color, still with a slight odor, and had completely filled the tampon! My vagina was red on the outside, and it was sore and tender to the touch, along with the ever-so-persistant itch. We now changed our personal prognosis to Trichomoniasis, as it includes the same symptoms as BV, but with a yellow/green discharge. We learned that this would not go away on its own, so we started to worry.
So I've these past two days I've has a light green discharge what does that mean? I've also always had to put a tampon in everyday because if not I'll leak like whiteish discharge or be spotting. Can anyone help on advise please?
Sorry for the TMI but I have been experiencing so much discharge lately. It feels like I peed my pants, I have to wear a tampon so it will stop. It started out white and now its a yellow color. It smells really bad like fish. I also have started experiencing horrible cramps and I normally don't even get cramps when I'm on my period. My roommates keep saying its a yeast infection but I think it must be something worse because it does not itch at all.
So recently, I've had A LOT of discharge. I always have, but for the past few weeks, it's been a lot. Sometimes I'll think that I started my period, go and check, and it's just discharge. But it's had this foul like fishy, just gross smell. And my discharge is, cottage cheese like (sorry if I gross anyone out haaha). I have a boyfriend and we've only had sex once and I almost don't want to again because I don't want him to think that I'm dirty or anything.
Who told you green/yellow discharge was normal? Whitish/yellow is normal, whitish/clear is normal; even yellow is normal, but green/yellow is a prominent indicator of a chronic bacterial infection, a foul odor further indicates bacteria. You need to see your doctor or gynecologist for evaluation and anti-biotics.
I wouldn't wear a tampon for discharge. As ANNOYING as discharge can be, wear pads or panty liners. Mine has gotten worse the farther along I am, so I'll be wearing them soon, too!
It went from white to yellowish (to sometimes a little green with some blood). before I started putting a tampon in (because it was so much) I just let it be and I ended up working out in tight pants. Afterwards I had a rash between my legs. nothing crazy very mild. it would act up then subside a little then act up a little. then i shaved and got the same rash on my pubic area. then it got better when I got my period.

Please do not use a regular tampon to absorb discharge. Not safe. I suggest using a panty liner. If you are soaking through a panty liner I would personally talk with my doctor.
As I continue shopping, I’m feeling more and more “spotting/discharge” coming out of my vagina. I become concerned, thinking that I should put on a tampon because I didn’t think the pantyliner was going to work anymore. I go to the restroom expecting to see period blood - instead I see light yellowish/light greenish discharge. The texture was thin-liquid like and I remember seeing small liquid bubbles - not a lot of bubbles, but some. There was no odor. No itching. No pain.
Okay, first let me tell you what I've had before. On 2012 I had a molar pregnancy, and on 2015 December 1st, I had a miscarriage (DnC). Okay, so on March 22 I was getting my first tattoo and what do you know, I had brown discharge and I didn't want to be on my period during my tattoo and I was getting it on the front of my thigh. Which the tattooer would be closer. Lol so! I used a tampon, I've recently just started using them.
So towards the end of my period when it was really very light I noticed when I was taking my tampons out it looked like the cotton was ripping off and some, not a lot but some, stayed behind. When I went and tried to see if I could find any pieces inside me I really could not find any. Now it's been a couple days later and I was checking again to see if I could find any, because I'm a nervous nelly about everything, and my discharge seems to have little pieces of cotton in it.
