Green discharge labor

Common Questions and Answers about Green discharge labor

discharge

Hmmm gets me worried.
All normal parts of the lovely third trimester. Your body is getting ready for labor though WHEN labor will happen is a mystery. It could be in two days or it could be in two weeks; these signs are not indicative of labor occurring sooner rather than later. And since you are still preterm it would be best for baby to stay in until week 38; many babies born before then wind up in NICU with respiratory complications.
It is totally normal to start loosing it around that time. It is just your body preparing for labor, it does not mean you are going to go into labor soon though, some woman loose their plug weeks before baby arrives.
if its yellow with green tinge it sounds like an infection possibly uti (urinary tract infection) the only discharge you should be getting at this point is white or clear in colour. green tinge is not a good thing, and the mucus plug isnt green either.
I hv green discharge wit really foul smell 15wks pregnant worried never had on my previous pregnancy

have you lost your plug? you could be beginning to lose it if not already. Increased discharge is normal in the late stages of pregnancy, I think I had to wear a pad for the last weeks cause I had nthing but D/C lol, my midwife called it the juices of pregnancy...

I was worried cause my tummy has been getting super tight lately and I'm scared of preterm labor. It doesn't hurt though. I don't see my doctor until October 8th. For my 28 week check up/glucose test.

This morning I noticed a change in my cervical mucous when I used the bathroom. It was a very light green color, which instantly freaked me out. Without being to gross, it looked like someone blew their nose. Other than that, not much else has chnaged. I had a hard time sleeping lat night, couldn't get comfy. I checked again after I calle my dr & now there's nothing. Any ideas?!?
Sometimes it's clear and sometimes it's a light green color. I don't have any pains and the discharge is slimy looking... Any ideas on what this could be? I'm 33 weeks today...
but over the weekend for two days i had a thick snotty like discharge that was kinda green. could this be my mucus plug or what? its stopped now.
Have you seen a placenta come out after each puppy? Does there seem to be excessive bleeding? Do you see any green discharge? How close are her contractions? When she has a contraction, can you see a sack in the vaginal area at all? Are you sure there are more puppies? Sometimes there can be some time in between puppies but if she has been pushing this long you best get her to the vet. The puppy may be too large, dead or turned and can't make it through the birth canal.
I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second child. I went to the bathroom this afternoon and found some discharge that looked really nasty. It was almost like looking at a cross between green snot and that sticky slimey kids gak. I've tried calling my doctors office and I'm not able to leave a message, their not going to be open till monday and I called the hospital and all they could tell me was that I might have an infection and to call my doctor... I looked at the Health dept.
I spoke to a girlfriend recently she's had her Mirena in for a year or so and she has a green discharge from one nipple and a milky discharge from the other. Is the link we both have the Mirena IUD ? is there anyone else out there with a green nipple discharge & using a Mirena IUD ?
I had greenish discharge one and a half before I went into labor. Get everything ready might be time.
My sister did this also. She was about 3 months pg and had green discharge through her whole pregnancy. She had a SEVERE vaginal infection and I think she was on antibiotic after antibiotic. Her baby was fine but my sister said it was so gross. I think she had a bad odor also and said she could see white blood cells in the toilet when she would go. I do know if that is actually possible but this is what she told me. Definitely see your dr right away to get on some meds if needed.
So earlier after I pee and I felt a gush of discharge come on. I wiped and it's creamy pink and quite a lot. Clean that up and think this is part of my bloody show. About 10 min later I went to check and this time I wiped and it's blood red, no discharge mix in, just blood. Not heavy but wasn't excepting plain blood. Is that still part of my bloody show? Baby has been kicking non stop all morning too. And I'm 40wks +1. Just call the OB and waiting from them to call me back.
I will be 38 weeks on Wednesday and my discharge (gross!) is thicker and heavier. Is this normal? It is not pink or anything, but I have definently noticed it. I have also been experiencing abnormal contractions for the past 2 weeks on and off. They go away after a few hours and don't come every day. My doctor told me to time them and if they start coming regularly, to go to the hospital. I have an appointment with my doctor on Friday to schedule my induction for 39 weeks pregnant.
i am 7 months pregnant and keep have a white discharge, the consistancy of raw egg white. I have had pains across my stomach, down my left leg and around my vagina. The discharge doesnt itch or anything, i only no its there when i go to the toilet and even then it doesnt happen everytime. only every few days, usually twice in that day. I bath daily, it doesnt itch or have an odour. is there anything i need to be worried about?
Discharge is normal...
These are all signs of infection. Later in pregnancy, an increase in discharge or a change in the type of discharge (if it becomes watery, mucus-like, or bloody – even if it's just tinged with pink or brownish old blood) may signal preterm labor and should prompt an immediate call to your caregiver. Coping with excess vaginal discharge You can wear an unscented panty liner to absorb the discharge if you wish.
I lost my plug during labor.. it was super gross.. lots of green slimy stuff.. so gross... ick..
I have also noticed over the past week or two, when I urinate, I sometimes have a thick, mostly clear (sometimes it is tinged w/ yellow or green, but barely noticeable.. Mostly clear) discharge.. What the heck is that about?
As the body prepares for labor, this protective barrier is expelled either in the form of a blob of mucus or in the form of a thick mucus discharge, similar to egg white or the result of a runny nose. This discharge may also contain a hint of blood.
For the past 2 days I have had a lot of clear/whiteish discharge, that is very runny (not a yeast infrction). Sorry to be so graphic, but I am hoping this could be cervical fluid from the implanation or some sign that I could be pregnant. Does anyone have any information on this that could help? Has anyone who is/was pregnant had similar symptoms? Thanks!!
Every time I use the bathroom there's usually some discharge (not green, usually clear, yellow, pink and/or brown in shading). I don't believe I've had any contractions, had my membrane sweep about 48 hours ago while I was 3-4 cm dilated. I do have som cramping from time to time and discomfort but nothing painful really. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't know what to expect.
