Avatar f tn You should call your doctor and be checked! My MFM doctor told me cramping during the third trimester is normal but if you experience 5 contractions in an hour you have to go to the hospital! For the mucus plug I am 2cm dilated and never see it! discharge during pregnancy is normal but if it's green or yellow and very thick call your doctor!
Avatar f tn I believe it means that your having some infection anything green coming out of the body is a sign of infection. But i know its normal to have a yellow discharge during pregnancy. If your going to the doctor for it the doctor could find out what the problem is.
11587059 tn?1427628263 So I'm not really sure what's been going on. I'm 18weeks with my first baby. Two days ago I had a bunch of green discharge. And now I've been having contractions since then. Feeling super dizzy. Spotting a tiny bit. Throwing up. And there's a lot of pressure. I've had a very hard pregnancy so far so I'm not sure if this is something to worry about or not! Help please. I don't want him out yet!
Avatar f tn White vaginal discharge is completely normal during pregnancy and may increase as your pregnancy gets closer to term. It can sometimes be "chunky" for lack of a better term or just creamy-like. As long as it does not have a foul smell or is tinged yellow or green or mixed with blood, then it's completely normal. Nothing to worry about. Lower back ache is also common in early pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Hello ladies. Please respond. I am 11 wks + 5 days. I have had a bartholin cyst off & on for almost 3 years. It's been drained twice. Since I've been pregnant it's gotten bigger and has been draining a green colored mucus (sorry tmi). I've expressed concern to my midwife and she didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I don't see how green discharge isn't an issue! Should I get a 2nd opinion? Will this hurt my baby?

Avatar n tn I'm in my 3rd trimester, 31 weeks and during my pregnancy I've had a lot of discharge, white & or mucus green color sometimes itchy. It has a foul smell too. Is this normal ?
Avatar f tn Yes, a white to watery discharge is normal and increases during pregnancy -- it is called leucorrhoea. Info I found online, from babycenter: "It's quite common to have more vaginal discharge while you are pregnant. It's usually quite harmless. What you are noticing is called leucorrhoea. This is a mild-smelling milky fluid or discharge. It happens because more blood is flowing to the area around your vagina.
Avatar f tn How did everyone deal with the discharge/increase in vaginal fluids during pregnancy?
Avatar n tn Hey everybody can any of you please tell me if you had any light green discharge during pregnancy..
Avatar f tn Throughout my whole pregnancy I have had a light green discharge. What could be causing this? I figured if it was an std they would have found it at my first appointment when they did blood work and my vaginal exam but I'm still worried! I'v only been with 2 people so I don't see how I would have got an std because my husband and the father to both my children is the only man I have ever had unprotected sex with.
Avatar n tn Did you have any symptoms of a yeast infection or any odor? I have a yellowish-green discharge on most days and I just came back from seeing a specialist and he said it's normal. That most women have an increased amount of discharge during pregnancy & that it could vary in color. He said as long as there is no burning, itching, or pain and since my tests have come back clear..
Avatar f tn A bit of discharge is normal during pregnancy only if it's clear and with no smell, pain while urination or itchyness, if it starts to change in colour to yellow or green you should talk to your doctor but if you say it's just clear with no symptoms it should be fine :)
Avatar n tn The white discharge expelled during early pregnancy may resemble egg white or a runny nose. The discharge is the cervical secretions that created a protective barrier in the cervical canal. This is expelled by the thinning and dilating of the cervix. The discharge might be expelled at once and will resemble a gelatinous glob. This discharge may be white or brown as a bit of blood might be expelled with it.
1456473 tn?1365827455 I only ever had some green discharge with my first pregnancy, and my midwife said as long as it doesn't smell or no other symptoms, it was fine. She said discharge can vary in color/texture from person to person and that even if you think you are losing a lot, it rebuilds very quickly. Mine was always white/yellow/green and sometimes thick or thin.
869568 tn?1248372915 I am 15 weeks pregnant and I know that discharge is totally normal during pregnancy. I just need to know what is normal and what is not. I just heard a story from a gal who went into pre-mature labor b/c she had a bacterial infection and didn't know it. She thought she just had normal discharge. So, that got me worried. So, if you ladies don't mind me asking and you don't mind sharing to put my mind at ease, are you having discharge, too? What color is it?
Avatar f tn Discharge and cramps are normal esp to early stage of pregnancy though im not sure about green discharge.
8023513 tn?1404352955 17 weeks definitely NOT a mucus plug & it absolutely won't be GREEN!!..... U may wannaget that checked up tho..
Avatar f tn I have told my doctor I am seeing for my pregnancy about my green chunky discharge mutiple times... she continues to pass it off as normal, has never checked on it, or done any tests. I am concerned the source of it will cause complications during birth... I've had it since I was about 16 weeks and I am now 34 weeks. How can I make her do her JOB, and help me?!
Avatar n tn Green discharge? I would def. get that checked out by a Dr.
