Avatar m tn Why are you so hung up on this word? Hysteria, unmanageable fear, or emotional excess, which is what you have. You're obcessing over something, and this isn't healthy. You can spend the rest of your life trying to figure out Greek mythology, but you won't be any better off. I would think at 30 you would have other places to put this time and effort, and build a life for yourself without your mum.
Avatar m tn The illusion of vaccine efficacy Vaccines are based on a scientific-sounding mythology that is widely believed by gullible physicians and scientists who simply believe what they are told rather than what's real. This mythology is based on the belief that injecting foreign matter into the human body will cause the immune system to adapt to the weakened foreign matter by creating antibodies that fight off future infections. This explanation, however, is pure mythology.
Avatar m tn After quitting weed 2-3 months ago, I started to experience what I believe were delusions at one point I actually believed I was a god and that I controlled the fate of the earth. This obviously made me paranoid around other people because I was afraid they'd hurt me. My Greek Mythology classes definitely made me believe in this myth. I also believed that i was claircognizant. This really messed with my head and still does to this day!

412969 tn?1224334248 I *love* Isis ...I love Egyptian and Greek mythology ...so a lot of those names are kick ***. =D Domino Isis is definitely different ...but it's a lot better than Moon Unit or Pilot Inspektor! Domino actually reminds of 'Grease' ...it's got that feel. =D And if you decide ...you can call her by a nickname ... Domi (dah-mee) ...or Izzy (for her middle name Isis). Or even pick up the nickname your dad called you when you were little.

Avatar f tn My husband and I can't decide on a name for our second daughter. Our first is Sophia Anastasia. We are Greek and want have a beautiful Greek name for her as well. My husband doesn't want a cute name like Zoe or Chloe. He wants a name that sounds beautiful but American people can pronounce without butchering it. There are already Helens and Katherine in the family. If anyone knows some beautiful names with beautiful meanings I would much appreciate the advice.
