352729 tn?1249552313 I would say yes, but not a doctor. I had TT for graves disease/hyperthyroidism. In my opinion i would say that is why i have been diagnosed with eagle symdrome and sialadenitis. It is all auto immune related if you ask me, but doctors are treating it all separately.

I use the over the counter meds fr it and sometimes the doctor prescribes me creams but it keeps coming back. Is it coming back because I gave it to him and he brings it back to me each time? Avatar f tn Is it possible for Graves to turn into Hashimoto's disease? I tested positive for TPO 562 & positive for ANA a few weeks ago. All thyroid levels are within normal range at this time except for the TPO, I am extremely tired, muscle aches and pains, rash all over body (it comes and goes) unable to focus, chronic infections, low grade fever daily. I was diagnosed with Graves in 2007 but, in remission for the last couple of years.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had multiple yeast/BV infections? I've had 3 so far and I think I'm having another! I'm going to ob tomorrow and I'm sure I'll get some meds. It's frustrating. Anyone Else?!?! Please help.
Avatar f tn Your vagina should have a smell though, and you should become familiar with the normal smell so that you can tell in the future if it changes. Bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections can arise spontaneously, without sexual activity being involved. Did you check for a tampon? I know it's gross, but if that's your problem it should be an easy fix. You can put gloves on if you're really grossed out by the idea.
Avatar f tn I was having servere pain in my middle back in the right side so at 1 am on the 5th I went to the er at that point was 22 weeks and 4 days they admitted me into labor and delivery where they found out the pain was due to a kidney infection they kept me on an IV with antibiotics until I was discharged this morning they sent me home with more antibiotics to take to finish fighting the infection but since I got home this morning my vagina has been kinda itchy when I itch it it hurts could that be a
Avatar f tn Monistat works like a charm for yeast infections! That's what my doctor told me I could take. Just over the counter. He recommended the 7-day treatment. Baby is protected by the bubble she's in, so the medication does not get to him/her. Perfectly safe! Unless as previously said, you have any other complications. I would talk to your doctor before you do anything. And like they said, anti biotics are needed for a bacterial infection. Good luck!
Avatar m tn Hi Shaggy... Neutrophils are a type of white blood cells. White blood cells fight infections and are, typically, elevated when inflammation is present. A lab result you had 8 years ago would have no bearing on what's going on now or even a month or year after it happened, because our blood make up is constantly changing - even from hour to hour. That said, to answer your question... 1) Low neutrophils have nothing to do with hyperthyroidism...

Avatar f tn I am a 47 year old femal with Graves disease. I have a ugly rash that started on my back and now has spread after about 2 years to my arms and shins. It looks like tiny pin point somewhat raised rash. They do scab and if the scab is broken it bleeds pretty bad. It actully looks like someone stuck me with pins. I was also recently diagnosed with a blood infection of yeast (candidia) from an infectious doctor, after a recent admission to the hospital for a kidney infection.

Avatar n tn Graves is an autoimmune disease and unfortunately for life. Controlling whether they raise or suppress is key to beating the symptoms of the disease. If you are on Levo now - your labs must be abnormal and now lean towards hypoT levels. You would feel like cr@p right now with the swinging patterns you have been on. "Once Graves.... always Graves" is the saying here. But I am positive your endo or ???
