Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge. Treatment is by metronidazole and clindamycin. it is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
OK, Girls, white stuff can mean several things... Cervical mucous, smegma, sebum, and other so-called "normal" skin secretions are expected in these regions of a woman's body. there are, however, some nasties that can present with this type of "gooey white discharge". Don't be alarmed, just be advised that a doctor or med professional has to test for pathogens (germs), and rule out other physical issues.
I've always been told that a little white gooey vaginal discharge is normal. But I have this fear that I'm pregnant, I'm almost sure of it and I've been having a lot of whit vaginal discharge, more than normal.
Vaginal discharge should be a milk white or clear. itcan have a very watery consistency or a thick gooey one. Discharge should never have a foul odor. have a cottage cheese consistency or be yellow or green.
For about the the past 4 years, I've had this foul smelly discharge. its usually thick, kind of gooey and may have a grayish or brownish color I often visit the obgyn because before (about 4 years ago) I started having this discharge, I was hospitalized with an ovarian cyst. Now, I have had different doctors give me different opinions and treatments (vaginal creams and gels), but all of them still never cleared up my discharge permanently.
and up until menopause has a vaginal discharge. it's different at different stages during your cycle (when you start your period) So don't worry it's totally normal. Unless you start to itch in that area, and it turns lumpy or a strange colour (green or something) and/or smells horrible - these all indicate an infection (which again are normal and every women is bound get one at some point).
I am 20 years old and I have a similar problem. I literally just was changing my underwear and I felt something hit my leg and I reached down, and there was a slimy goopy piece of discharge that felt very solid. Sort of like... a jelly fish. I got very nervous. I have had similar cases before, but never this large so I got nervous that its getting worse. I dont have it happen often though. Freaked me the hell out.
I'm eighteen years old and I've been having a vaginal discharge that is almost like a cloudy white color. On my panty liner or underwear it dries to a yellow color. I've looked up issues about this and everyone has said they smell a foul odor. I don't know if I would really call mine a foul odor, just not a pleasent one. Sometimes it's almost like a sour smell and sometimes it's not. I've had intercourse before, but this discharge has been happening even when I was eleven.
to be frank when I wipe (don't know if it is a discharge) the vaginal area, it sometimes is dark brown gooey and smells like feces or something like that. I don't have pain, itching or any other symptoms. I do have fibroids and am peri-menopausal. I am married and in a monogomous relationship for sure. I am also on birth control and actually due to a back injury haven't had sex in a long time. Any ideas what this could be. I know it is not HPV or an STD. I had pelvic exam about a year ago.
it sounds like normal vaginal discharge. I got it when I was 10 and then got my period when I was 11. From then on I've had similar gooey stuff at different times every month. it's normal for women's discharge to change depending on what part of their monthly cycle they're in, and in my experience the discharge comes before the period does. But if it starts itching or you get worried for another reason, you should probably ask your mother or the school nurse about it.
I would take a shower at night, put on panties and in the morning I would have white gooey stuff in them. it also happens throughout the day. Sometimes it's a pale yellow and gets very hard and crusty in my panties. Other times it's clear or slightly white. These concerns have been bothering me for a very, very long time but I am too nervous to consult anybody. Can anyone here help me? I would GREATLY appriciate it. Also, just a note again, I am NOT sexually active.

i have the exact same symptoms. I got tested for all STDs and everything came out negative (although I knew it would unless my boyfriend was cheating!). The ulcer goes away if I dont' have intercourse for a while, but comes back as soon as I do. Otherwise, I dont' feel any pain or discomfort. I've seen two doctors so far who have been no help, and am going to see a specialist soon. I am so worried! Please let me know if the surgery worked, and if you found out what the problem was?
I've been having this a type of discharge that's stringy and is mucous like. I can actually stretch it out between my fingers. it has no odor, no itch or pain and its off white, not milky or clear. I started having this after I used a 3day yeast infection treatment my doctor gave me. it's been over a week since I've treated it. it kinda looks like a gooey snot. After having sex, I saw in the shower the usual clear liquid you get when you're aroused mixed with the mucous like discharge.
I am having vaginal discharge and a lot of it. it is clear and very gooey, I have been off my period for like 2 weeks. This clear gooky stuff, kinda like clear snot, it soaks my underwear and I am constantly having to go to the bathroom and clean myself up. it was weird because my period was shorter than usual, but I bled a lot more in a shorter amount of time. Usually my periods last a week to two weeks, this time it only lasted about 3 days.
it was just the one time, and with a condom, but afterwards i noticed the consistency of the discharge change form normal to gooey. i also noticed a non-fishy (foul-smelling and maybe sour?) odor occur. also, i get discharge that is white, sticky, and hardens and sticks to my underwear. the color is white and sometimes a little yellow tint. i have been tested multiple times for yeast, BV, STI's and i am negative for them all. the discharge also when it comes out makes me super itchy.

me and my partner then had sex the following week (this was last week) yesterday i had some blood (perhaps spotting) then there was no more blood that day. today i woke up and i had like... a ball of discharge which looked quite gooey and was quite wet. today I've felt like I've been on my period with cramps and the moisture but I'm not. what do you think this discharge is I'm worried??
The past 2 months I have had frequent watery discharge. I went to the doctor and he said that the IUD can give you all kinds of strange discharge. Is anyone else having this problem?
For three months now, I've been finding a discharge at the tip of my penis. At first, there'd be stains in my underwear, and as time passed: I'd have to milk it to look for discharge. it was white, thick, and odourless. I didn't experience any pain in urination whatsoever.
like if you took a mirror and opened your vaginal lips is it all white, gooey discharge? does sound like a yeast infection. no burning? redness? irritation? itching? those usually accompany a yest infection. i know things feel swollen down there/thick when i have one. try the 7 day monistat but you do need to be 100% certain it is indeed a yeast infection.
Hi everyone....has this ever occured to you....I started having white discharge right after my period ended, and this has never occured to me before, usually after my period ends i dont have discharge at all until about 7 days and its usually clear in color... I took a blood test a few days back and it came out negative.....but i still feel like there is something going on...and i still have the discharge up to now...has this ever occured to anyone??...
it felt like I was going to start my period but when I went to the bathroom to check all I saw was this gooey thick white discharge. does this have to do with ovulation or what? I appreciate any response, thank you!
i keep feeling like i started my period, but nothing is there except a little bit of gooey whiteish clear discharge. every once and a while my uterus will hurt too. i just want answers...
Vaginal discharge is normal, but since you said it looks like cottage cheese, it can be a sign of infection and you need to see your doctor to find out what is going on. Normal vaginal discharge should be "gooey" looking(not like cottage cheese), either clear or white, no strong odor, and not itchy.
