I rested from exercising but the problem only worsened with swollen bursa, a golf ball sized protrusion on the back of the elbow, as well as difficulties to extend my arm fully. The doctor I visited sent me home with a max dose of diclofenac for 2 week.

You can pick out the routine that you want to work on or do them all. It also gives an alternative set of exercises to do, actually demonstrated by one of the women on the dvd, that are not quite as strenuous. It was around $15 on amazon. I have also seen dvds specific to MS patients' needs. You might want to look at those, too.

Avatar n tn s important that you not be swayed by pressure from relatives or others. Children accomplish toilet training when they are ready to do so - development handles this. All you have to do is be encouraging and supportive, not pressuring or critical. Use rewards to reinfornce use of the potty. Also, use of children's books and videos about potty trainng (e.g., Sesame Street - Elmo's Potty Time) can be very helpful. Searching for a quick remedy is pointless - it is going down the wrong road.

Be sure not to overdo it, though, because you don't want to introduce pressure. Also develop a little potty training chart, on which you place a star (or some other form of sticker) when he uses the potty successfully. The key is to be patient and supportive, not impatient, as he goes through the process.

Avatar f tn I would first start with some yoga and flexibility exercise. Even though you are cleared for activity I know personally my incision was still pretty sensitive in spots. I've been using the hot 5 app. I have an iPhone though. If you have a droid my friends can't find it..

Avatar f tn Sorry to hear about your toe... why not try doing some strength training over the next few weeks. Strength training is necessary for building muscles and muscles burn more fat. If you're just walking or dancing, etc with flip flops or bare feet that's fine. Running or high impact cardio should only be done with good supportive shoes. You could also try some yoga... it's good for weight loss and shouldn't affect your toe.

Avatar f tn I am training for the Susan G 60 mile 3 day walk the first weekend in Aug. When I walk 15 miles or more in the heat it sounds like I am getting Golfer's Vasculitis. The trouble is my feet and legs swell up and I am worried I will not get my shoes on the next day. Anything I can do to get the swelling down fast some have suggested compression stockings but not sure how that will be in the heat.
