Avatar n tn There are some kinds of programs where people are taught to repress their bisexuality otr homosexuality, but it’s a repression, not a change – and evidence suggests that that kind of repression is not healthy. You really will be much better off if you can learn to live with your sexuality and accept it. Just because you are attracted to both men and women doesn’t mean you can’t ne very happily (and faithfully) married.
Avatar m tn ways of sexual repression confuse you. Expect sexual changes with puberty.
11765409 tn?1420944089 If you do find that you get yeast infections a lot, do get your doctor to arrange for you to have a glucose test done. People with glucose intolerance (pre diabetes) and people with diabetes are prone to getting yeast infections. Do bear in mind too, that being on a course of antibiotics can also bring on yeast infections.
Avatar f tn Just curious. Btw I'm 32 weeks and still haven't taken my glucose test!
Avatar f tn hon, i would suggest testing for diabetes you know, reoccuring yeast infections can be caused by that, as well as flu like symptoms beacause of the overload of glucose, or too low glucose levels, get tested i say just to be on the safe side : ) but sayign that, i had reoccuirng yest infectiosn and it was down too stress, if your worryign about it a lot then that coudl just be the problem .
Avatar f tn Whether one is bothered by being gay or not, to an extent, in the world of the last few centuries being gay was considered by almost every culture to be an offense against their religion and there was great repression. If you go back a few centuries further, it appears a lot of people were gay or bisexual and it was perfectly accepted.
Avatar m tn I am 20 week and I been having frequent (3 yeast) infection the doc prescribe a yest infection pill and said if i have another yeast infection she will have to test to see if i have an std. With the yest infection everything cleared up but the strong odor. my question is: if it was trichomoniasis would the yest infecton pill have ANY affect on the symptoms that trichomoniasis have. Everything is gone but the bad smell. It is not as bad but it is still there.
2003871 tn?1336168469 If you have reoccurring yeast infections that can be a sign of diabetes, however yeast infections can easily occur without diabetes. So, get tested for glucose blood levels but you might want to talk to your dr about other causes.
Avatar f tn To: Dr. Santos Hello. I've been having this problem (frequent urination) pretty good for about 1 year now. I feel tired a lot and I have a outer itching on my vaginal area around my monthly cycle time but I don't have a yeast infection because I've been tested for this many times. I take 20 mg of Lexapro daily and on other medicine. About one year ago, I had a glucose test done at my annual pelvic exam visit, and my sugar was higher than usual but not diabetic.
Avatar n tn Hi. Did they ever check for yeast infection? Most likely yes. If you eat a diet high in sugar can sometimes cause imbalance of good vs bad bacteria. One great product that has helped many women with itchiness of the vagina is taking probiotocs daily.many doctors nowadays prescribe or recommend woman take probiotics after taking antibiotics in order to balance things out again. I even inserted a few probitics into my vagina to help get rid of yeast infection. Plus I take it everyday.
Avatar m tn Hi Iris~I am not too familiar with the vegetarian form of B12, I have always been under the impression that B12 is best when it is derived from sources such as liver. The one non-meat form of B12 that I DO know of and I take myself, is in the form of "Brewers yeast" Brewers Yeast has ALL the B vitamins in it, not to mention the amino acids, and the Glucose Tolerance Factor mineral, Chromium. I love how it tastes, I put it on my cottage cheese and I just love it.
Avatar m tn There is a connection between diabetes and reoccurring yeast infections, if you continue with this please ask your doctor to do a fasting glucose test. I hope this helps. Please keep me posted.
Avatar m tn I dont knw why I posted and what I am asking... Coming to ur questions: "You stated that you did not get any milk. Were you expecting to get milk? Were you..........never mind. There was no milk. " I was not expecting. After reading this forum, I came to know that if a girl is lactating then chances are there, there will be some milk (though this is not a risk for adults).
Avatar n tn Dear Newly diagnosed diabetic, I too for years had symptoms, excessive thirst, excessive urination, multiple yeast infections, blurred vision, glucose tolerance test were all negative, blood sugar tests were within normal limits. I thought I was very lucky not to be a diabetic, but what was causing all these symptoms?
Avatar f tn I have delt with the darker side of my mind for years now thru repression. When i try to let it out, and live with it, it consumes me, and i get lost into the darkness. I am being advised right now to "let it go" and to "learn to live with it" .. but i have lived happily with repressing it, wat i am wanting to know is, am i hurting myself in the long run? Or am i doin myself a favor and pushing it back so far, that eventually it will get pushed completly out of my mind?
Avatar n tn I don't know the answer, but I have seen many peoples doing this, when - I assume - I looked them straight in the eyes. In my opinion, this happens when they feel unconfortable, and that instead of reacting, they make this eye movement (like someone that is blinking his eyes, but it seem to be a deeper "pulsionnal repression" in this specific case). My personnal (non scientific) impression.
Avatar m tn Looking at the slides, he said that it does appear to be yeast but not a common strain. Normally the yeast has a couple of arms but the yeast I have has many and is similar to a bunch of grapes. My body does not see it as foreign and is not attacking it. The next step is for my Dr. to make an appointment with a microbiologist that specializes in yeast. My Dr. will show the slides and hopefully they can identify the strain in order to determine the drug to eliminate it.

519035 tn?1348275773 The fatigue, gastrointestinal problems, and cravings for sweets are *definitely* a sign of die-off. Have you been checking your blood glucose? Sometimes yeast can be an indicator of sugar issues and they tend to go hand-in-hand with thyroid problems. Yes, drink lots of water! Try some yogurt too with active cultures - there are quite a few now that will help increase the good flora in your GI tract. Stay away from carbs for a while too.
