1399363 tn?1462342610 Histamine occurs naturally in certain foods and an enzyme called diamine oxidase, which is present in our body breaks down the histamine which we absorb from food. Deficiency of this enzyme can cause histamine intolerance. Among the naturally occurring fruits and vegetables some can be rich in histamines and some promote the release of histamine from mast cells. So, with consumption of food the reactions can vary.
Avatar f tn Then I asked her to give me my glucose and insulin results---BOTH WERE NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so relieved. When I was getting my blood drawn at the 3-Hour Glucose/Insulin test I felt such a peace come over me! I guess my only question to my doc when she calls tomorrow is, "Am I ovulating?" because I haven't gotten pregnant. At least to my knowledge! AF still hasn't arrived but I've gotten THREE BFNs and I don't feel pregnant or AF-ish.

Avatar m tn People already on MOA oxidase inhibitors, with narrow angle glaucoma, cardiac, liver and kidney disorders should not take Savella. If these symptoms are bothering you a lot seek medical help. Get your blood pressure checked. If your blood pressure is normal these effects may dissipate with time. Talk with your doctor before stopping Savella and do not stop suddenly; this can cause withdrawal symptoms .Discuss your concerns with your doctor. Take care!

My next prenatal appt, my dr said I was not anemic or have diabetes so my husband and I were relieved. I had to explain to the nurse 3x that I never knew I had that do that test and I was told I was "healthy"!
Avatar n tn ve learned the hard and painful way to take charge of my heatlh. I had a doctor that kept testing me every 3 months for about 1 year and told me that "I didn't look sick" . Well I ended up in a hospital with my glucose over 700 and ketoacidosis !!! At the hospital I'found that I am type 1 diabetic (I am 39 years old!!) and He NEVER told me that there was something wrong with my glucose levels... just kept testing me...
172023 tn?1334672284 During my absence, I have arbitrarily designated Gloria (Wannabenana) to be in charge. Of course, I failed to clear this with her, so she may decline the responsibility. In the event I don't come back, don't eff everything up.
11849443 tn?1441302841 I use a Fitbit Charge HR on my right wrist, and on my left wrist, a Samsung Gear 2 which has heart rate on demand as opposed to continuous heart rate monitoring, Both are typically within 1 or 2 beats from each other. For pure monitoring, the Charge HR is great, and it will store an entire days worth of heart rate data. I've gotten my rate up into the upper 170s since I started wearing the Charge HR a couple of weeks ago. But I have my doubt about how well it will monitor SVT rates.
Avatar f tn Square one is to get an HbA1c, blood test which is used to detect diabetes, and offered free of charge at many facilities. If you pay the charge in the United States should not be more that $125, including physician visit. That's what one doctor I know charges. Many of your symptoms can be due to abnormal glucose levels.

Avatar f tn If "LUPINEM", whatever this is, is lowering your father's glucose level, you need to talk with the doctor in charge to understand the reasoning behind the injections. I could not find anything on "lupinem" with a Google search. If you expect us to comment on a medication it needs to be spelled correctly. "what the report says?" You should speak with his doctor or the Radiologist who wrote the report. "what will happen if the fluid collection is in foot?
Avatar m tn s effects potentially are related to optimizing serotonin and dopamine levels due to monoamine oxidase inhibition and its influence on opioid peptides such as beta-endorphins'' -wiki Do not combine any suggestion above with your current Zoloft.
Avatar f tn It's interesting that you kept it a secret as to how you came to the conclusion that "I have high blood sugus reading" when, in your words, "never done this before". How sure are you that your readings [glucose test results] were accurate, not a false positive? As suggested by the prior poster, first read the information on Medhelp diabetes, or Google "diabetes", then go see a doctor for correct testing and care instructions.
Avatar f tn Check with a local hospital. In my area blood tests are available for reasonable fees. You may need to get another doctor! When it comes to your personal health you need to be the one to take charge! I've had my share of "less than best" doctors! Also you can buy blood glucose monitors at a very resonable cost. Testing should be done about two hours after meals also.
