Common Questions and Answers about Glucose molecule elements

glucose

Avatar m tn Depending on its source it contains as many between 70-85 complex minerals and trace elements. Shilajit comes from humus. Humus is the natural material that is formed when the soil’s microorganisms decompose organic material into elements used by plants. It is very high in antioxidants, nutrients, amino acids, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal phytochemicals. The most important component in shilajit is fulvic acid.
Avatar m tn Thank you so much for your input. I guess it is the same finding about Vit C molecule and Glucose molecule and how they both look the same and why cancer cells "think" it's the right fuel for them where in fact it's Vitamin C molecule absorb. I have a little text in my journal about Vit C and Glucose. Take a look if you like. Take care, Hugs, Sunes.
Avatar f tn t call me, that everything was just fine, but if they did, something was wrong! I got the 1 hr glucose test as well (for having a very small trace of glucose on urine) and the same they won't call Mr unless something is wrong! But they didn't tell me how long should I be waiting for a call!!
Avatar n tn Lactose Polyethylene Glycol Listing just lactose (One Molecule of lactose consists of one molecule each of two other carbohydrates, i.e. galactose and glucose) and Polyethylene Glycol. I will give you this information and let you draw your own conclusions as the safety of the product. The dosage for production must usually be within 5% of the labeled dosage to be considered (for example) a 2mg dose.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am a 25 year old male, had a qyestion regarding a lab test result which I got earlier this year (doctor nor I thought anything of it, questioning it now as people have mentioned this to me recently). To sum up, I had a physical done which included a random blood sugar test (to be honest, think I either took the test in the morning/didnt eat yet or had MAYBE a small snack at the most). Regardless, my random blood sugar a little while back was a 79...well within the normal test limit.
Avatar f tn I went to the emergencyroom back in march. They did blood tests and my glucose was 104 which they considered high(normal being up to 99) They never said anything to me about this and as far as I know, I have never had this before. I had to go to the emergency room again last month and again, they did blood work. My glucose level was only 88. I am just wondering if I should be looking into this. Could I be diabetic? They never said anything about the high level.
315737 tn?1407298997 These changes are also thought to be markers for aging. The scientists say that it is the fructose molecule in the sucrose, not the glucose, that plays the larger part.20 Because it is metabolized by the liver, fructose does not cause the pancreas to release insulin the way it normally does. Fructose converts to fat more than any other sugar. This may be one of the reasons Americans continue to get fatter. Fructose raises serum triglycerides significantly.
Avatar f tn Yes, as I understand it, glycated hemoglobin is the attachment of glucose to hemoglobin, a globular protein molecule. It is a measure of blood sugar levels over about three months time and is elevated when blood sugar has been elevated. I'm looking for information on what levels of blood sugar typically result in glycation. I have not seen my blood sugar go over 127, and I'm wondering what level I should be keeping it under in order to lower my Hgba1c.
Avatar n tn Hello there, Now that I have read a few things, I remembered not long ago, I got a glucose prick with one of those finger pricks to measure the glucose in your blood. I was wondering how those things work, because the nurse stapled my finger for blood to come out...if that was used on someone prior with HIV, could that be a way of transimision?
Avatar f tn Parisian biotech Abivax is in line to raise €43.6 million ($49 million) in a European IPO, earmarking its new cash to push a hepatitis B vaccine into pivotal trials and hit the gas on an HIV drug. Abivax has registered about 2 million shares on the Euronext Paris exchange, setting aside another roughly 300,000 for its underwriters. The biotech will be placing shares through June 22, expecting to price them at a midpoint of €21.30 ($23.91) each.
Avatar n tn Hello, Andrea. I'm not a medical professional, just the parent of a kid with diabetes. Juvenile diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the body's pancreas ceases to function properly. The pancreas produces two primary proteins, the most important of which is insulin. When you eat, food is broken down into it's basic elements to be digested, the most basic of which is glucose. The body uses glucose in muscles, for energy, and in the brain, to support basic functions.
Avatar n tn Yes, after 12 years of gastric bypass, deficiencies of minerals, vitamins and trace elements may develop and cause poly-neuropathy. If vitamin B12 is ok then vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin D, electrolytes and blood glucose levels should be checked. Also, effort should be made to look into the possibility of cholesterol, albumin and thyroid disorder. After you opt for these tests, you can take a multi-vitamin supplement with zinc and magnesium, iron, multivitamins including B12 and B6.
956931 tn?1271636169 Good Afternoon, I just spoke with the Coordinator of my study about the glucose issue. My last blood glucose was 97 before the "week one" blood draw last week which indicated a blood glucose of 114. My Hgb A1C was 6.1 and needed to be under 7.0; which it is. So I am not excluded due to my blood sugar as it is not at this time a problem and falls well within the range of acceptable.
Avatar f tn Atoms or compounds don’t radiate as they travel so don’t have electromagnetic waves as you stated. Most elements and compounds don’t interact with glass so doesn’t go through it, but if they do, for instance HF acid, it will pour through the glass destroying it. It can’t go through and leave it untouched. HF acid is very very strong so it’s obvious when it comes to contact with anything…. It will eat it away. Unlike the BS alien movie, if you had HF acid in you, you would have been dead.
163305 tn?1333668571 Newswise — Chemists at the University of California, San Diego have produced the first high resolution structure of a molecule that when attached to the genetic material of the hepatitis C virus prevents it from reproducing. Hepatitis C is a chronic infectious disease that affects some 170 million people worldwide and causes chronic liver disease and liver cancer. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hepatitis C now kills more Americans each year than HIV.
483733 tn?1326798446 So where does D-Ribose come in? A D-Ribose molecule is the backbone of every ATP molecule! But the body isn’t very good at producing D-Ribose. Worse still, many people with FM and CFS have a large percentage of damaged mitochondria, which means there are fewer places where the Krebs Cycle can happen. Taking D-Ribose is like pouring gas in your car. It refuels the Krebs Cycle so your mitochondria can make energy more efficiently!
Avatar n tn from being stuck to a protein molecule. When the hormone is attached to the protein molecule, it becomes 100% useless! So you realy want the free isolated hormones that actually do all the work to be tested and counted. Also if you are fatigued and it is common for people with low thyroid to also be deficient in the following and you should be tested for these as well Vitamin D3, Vitamin B-12 Iron Ferritin back to TSH. TSH is a pituitary hormone.
Avatar n tn Pegasys is Interferon alfa-2a with a chunk of an inert molecule attatched. The molecular weight of the chunk is about 40,000 Daltons. The inert material is polyethylene glycol(PEG), a long-chain molecule or polymer which passes unmodified through the body. Pegetron/PegIntron is Interferon-2b with a different-sized chunk of PEG on it., I believe its 14,000 Daltons. (You will recall that 1 Dalton is the weight of a hydrogen atom.
Avatar m tn LOL LOL Very cute But you are OUT!! Ok I'll give you another chance to play I am Tired, Went into Manhattan, to the Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium Haven't been their in 15 years Vinpocetine facilitates cerebral metabolism by improving cerebral microcirculation (i.e., blood flow to, and throughout, the brain).
Avatar n tn Synthroid is a stereo synthetic molecule that mimics the real thyroid molecule. Because it is similar in the type of bonds but not the true thyroid molecule (like Armour) the body is initially fooled into believing (metabolically) that it is getting a new, adequate dose of what it needs. The body, however, doesn't accommodate the stereo mimicry (being "fooled" by a look-alike molecule) very long and responds with symptoms similar to chemical poisoning (e.g.
