Glucose molecule aerobic respiration

Common Questions and Answers about Glucose molecule aerobic respiration

glucose

Avatar m tn If so, that appears to be normal. The likes of cardio level aerobic exercise will cause the release of glucose by the liver and for some people that causes a temporary rise in glucose levels. Also, I wasn't aware of this. Look at the 3rd paragraph on the right that begins with the word Atheletes. http://tinyurl.
Avatar m tn Vitamin A is a vitamin that is needed by the retina of the eye in the form of a specific metabolite, the light-absorbing molecule retinal. This molecule is absolutely necessary for both scotopic and color vision. Vitamin A also functions in a very different role, as an irreversibly oxidized form retinoic acid, which is an important hormone-like growth factor for epithelial and other cells.
Avatar f tn Exercise aerobically everyday. Aerobic exercise burns glucose and fat from the body to help promote a lean physique. Aerobic exercise is important for all-over weight loss. Beginners to fitness should start slowly with at least 10 to 20 minutes of aerobic activity per day and gradually increase the time. For those who are accustomed to daily aerobic activity, aim for 30 to 45 minutes a day.
Avatar f tn * In large quantities, cumin may cause garlic like body odor or bad breath * Excesses of selenium are secreted in the urine, and the selenium-containing molecule dimethyl selenide is excreted during respiration. This molecule gives breath a garlic odor characteristic of selenium toxicity.
Avatar n tn I do a lot of weight and resistance training and combine this with aerobic training (cardio), my aim is to get toned up and lean (i play scrum-half) for the new season, i seem to have a problem with burning off the fat, in order for the muslce to be seen and my coaches to be able to see an improvement, (abdomen being the main culprit). Basicall what im asking is if i dont produce insulin does this mean i dont produce glucagon and so cant burn off the fat around my body?
Avatar m tn Thank you so much for your input. I guess it is the same finding about Vit C molecule and Glucose molecule and how they both look the same and why cancer cells "think" it's the right fuel for them where in fact it's Vitamin C molecule absorb. I have a little text in my journal about Vit C and Glucose. Take a look if you like. Take care, Hugs, Sunes.
Avatar n tn Lactose Polyethylene Glycol Listing just lactose (One Molecule of lactose consists of one molecule each of two other carbohydrates, i.e. galactose and glucose) and Polyethylene Glycol. I will give you this information and let you draw your own conclusions as the safety of the product. The dosage for production must usually be within 5% of the labeled dosage to be considered (for example) a 2mg dose.
Avatar f tn I went to the emergencyroom back in march. They did blood tests and my glucose was 104 which they considered high(normal being up to 99) They never said anything to me about this and as far as I know, I have never had this before. I had to go to the emergency room again last month and again, they did blood work. My glucose level was only 88. I am just wondering if I should be looking into this. Could I be diabetic? They never said anything about the high level.
315737 tn?1407298997 These changes are also thought to be markers for aging. The scientists say that it is the fructose molecule in the sucrose, not the glucose, that plays the larger part.20 Because it is metabolized by the liver, fructose does not cause the pancreas to release insulin the way it normally does. Fructose converts to fat more than any other sugar. This may be one of the reasons Americans continue to get fatter. Fructose raises serum triglycerides significantly.
Avatar f tn Yes, as I understand it, glycated hemoglobin is the attachment of glucose to hemoglobin, a globular protein molecule. It is a measure of blood sugar levels over about three months time and is elevated when blood sugar has been elevated. I'm looking for information on what levels of blood sugar typically result in glycation. I have not seen my blood sugar go over 127, and I'm wondering what level I should be keeping it under in order to lower my Hgba1c.
Avatar f tn I am a runner. When I don't run I get depressed. I have not had the energy to run in months and now I hurt, first it was my ankles, then my knees, now it hurts in my hips. I really hope someone out there can tell me they eventually returned to running or aerobic activities. I'm one month into treatment with no improvements, only more symptoms and a heap load of depression.
Avatar n tn I am in need of exercise specifically aerobic. I have tried walking after my multiple operations for a huge DVT in my leg but the bottom of that foot swells and feels funny and painful. I have many types of top walking shoes and even foot pads installed in them but the condition persists. Before my DVT in June I was quite active and exercised regularly. Bicycle riding has the same type of negative effect. Has anyone had any success in these step climbers/air climbers?
Avatar n tn WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED TO THE HYPOTHYROIDISM IN 2000 , MY WEIGHT WAS ELEVATED AND GLUCOSE WAS HIGH, LATER WHEN I WAS ON THYROXINE GLUCOSE LEVEL IN MY BLOOD WAS BACK TO NORMAL .SO IF U KINDLY SEEK HELP OF ANY ENDOCRIONOLOGIST (THYROID SPECIALIST) U WL BE OK.
Avatar m tn and i feel it is respiration related because mostly i have the shortage in respiration.
806995 tn?1265823176 My glucose level are on the high side (6.5, 5.2, 6.1 mmol/l at -1, 1, and 4 weeks of TX respectively). Hence, I suspect I'm insulin resistent. I'm genotype 1 and have also HIV. At 4 weeks I only had a 0.23 log drop in VL. I may well be a non-responder, and perhaps it is related to a possible IR. In November 2008 the results of a double blind test was published, where IR geno 1 HCV where treated with additional Metformin to suppress the IR. It worked, but mainly for women and fat people.
968560 tn?1307451498 Are there any pain killers that dont affect respiration. I'm taking hydrocodone and it makes it really hard to breathe.
Avatar n tn One day, about 12 miles into a run, heart rate (HR) increased, respiration rate increased, and ability to do work/run decreased dramatically. Next day I felt fine. A few weeks later, same thing happened about 16 miles into a run. Tested nutrition, hydration, electrolytes, and combinations of three with no change. Symptoms would persist for up to several weeks at times, or be gone the next day. Symptoms happened 3-27 miles into my runs. Last March during 50k race, happened again at mile 15.
Avatar f tn For very high intensity exercises lasting for less than two minutes, such as a heavy weightlifting or an all-out sprint, your body generates energy without oxygen, drawing on muscle stores of creatine phosphate and glycogen, the storage form of glucose. For lower-intensity exercise of longer duration like walking, running or cycling, your body uses oxygen to burn glycogen and fat.
