Avatar m tn What are your Free T3 and Free T4 levels? Please post them, with reference ranges, which vary from lab to lab and have to come from your own report. TSH does not cause or alleviate symptoms. It's the actual thyroid hormones that cause (or alleviate) symptoms, with Free T3 correlating best. Your A1c indicates that you have diabetes and that's what's causing your symptoms of frequent urination, weight loss, etc. Are you keeping track of your daily fasting blood sugars?
Avatar f tn Do you have any other symptoms of hyper or hypo, besides the gastro ones? Symptoms of hyper could be weight loss, tremors, mood disorders, heat intolerance, rapid heart rate, etc. Symptoms of hypo could be weight gain, cold intolerance, muscle/joint aches/pains, GERD, slow heart rate, high cholesterol. Depression, fatigue and anxiety, heart palps can be symptoms of either.
Avatar m tn My Tsh came back at .49 from 1.93 where I feel great! In 15 I never had an issue! I am due to get full panel thyroid tests in 3 weeks!
Avatar n tn bacterial overgrowth was negative, lactose intolerance was negative but fructose intolerance was positive. My control number was 11 and the end number was 44...I was told anything resulting in +20 (so mine would be 31) is positive. Okay, so here are my questions...what does the 44 mean (if anything) low intolerance, high intolerance?
Avatar n tn The thing is, I am 26 and was tested with the glucose intolerance test about 10-12 years ago and it came back fine. That was when all the symptoms started...I was around 14-16 years old then. And since then, my sugar levels have seemed fine when I've checked my blood with my Dad's glucometer. But when I went to then Doctor recently, then said my glucose reading was a 220. So does this mean I have pre-diabetes or even already diabetes?
Avatar n tn I've been battling diarrhea for the last 5 months. Along with that, I've been jittery, experiencing tachycardia and extreme heat intolerance. If you're taking too much levoxyl, can it cause these symptoms? It happens only in the morning about an hour to an hour and a half after I take my levoxyl. By 11:00am, I'm fine. Does this sound likely? I have Hashimoto's and possible gluten intolerance but have been gluten free for 2 years now.

Avatar m tn These could be signs of diabetes, but could be other things as well, including Depression. If you also have increased thirst and urination that would make diabetes more likely. However you most certainly can ask your doctor to do a blood glucose test and then you will know for sure and not have to worry.
Avatar m tn Common- acne- muscle weakness, Depression, anxiety and irritability, Decreased libido (maybe my mental illness or side effects of medications? Avatar f tn I agree with what Barb has said. I would also add that the thyroid med is not a likely contributor to the weight gain, if you had questions about that. It is possible that your thyroid hormone levels are not adequate to get your metabolism to the right level for you. If you will please post your thyroid test results, and their reference ranges shown on the lab report, members will be glad to assess the adequacy of your testing and test levels.
