glucose

Avatar f tn t have iron in them. Well when I did my glucose test I found out I was anemic, so I started taking vitamins with iron and an additional iron supplement. As long as your getting all your nutrients through food you should be OK. Just have to really watch what your eating.
Avatar m tn I am wondering if this is a neurological problem or perhaps related to something else like hypertension, diabetes (I am slightly high (105) in fasting glucose). Also can carpal tunnel syndrome cause some of these types of symptoms in the wrist?
1663743 tn?1302916403 I just started taking prenatal vitamins, daily multi-vitamins, vitamins b-6, b-12, calcium, vitamins C and E if you would like try Geritols it has iron it builds your blood up or 3 SSS tonic believe me I use to have Anemic especially when I was pregnant and after pregnancy. 334776 tn?1249968581 last night, i was having moderate cramping, as well as could not stay in one spot for more than 10-15 minutes, and a slimy whitish-clear discharge(TMI sorry).....today, i've had some nausea, 2x vomiting, the top of my stomach hurts bad, as well as the pelvic pressure a little less than last night, but was super bad last night.....my BB"s are soooo super tender, and they've been tender of course, but not to the point where it hurt to pull the sheet over myself.....
Avatar m tn never work and always fail. Honey contains fructose, which in a majority of diabetics elevates glucose levels. One must make and maintain lifestyle changes in order to control and manage their diabetes and/or help reverse it. Reversing diabetes depends greatly on your unknown glucose levels and how long you've been that way. It depends also on your current body weight and diet.
Avatar f tn Anyways if u can go get the test done as early as u can I didnt eat or drink anything or take my vitamins just in case it makes it false. I take prenatal vitamins flinstone iron pills and just iron pills and then the food with iron in it. Im also a red head so I need more iron than other girls.
Avatar n tn Your doctor should prescribe prenatal vitamins now... I would call and ask the OBGYN doc what kind of vitamins to take. In that regard, you shouldn't need anything different from non-diabetic pregnant women. The main thing for you to focus on is testing often and trying to keep your sugar levels as normal as possible all throughout the pregnancy. Most doctors want pregnant type 1 diabetic women to keep their glucose levels as low as possible without risking hypoglycemia.
6810737 tn?1385004768 She goes to the vet twice a week to have dextrose with vitamins and potassium put her on her. We put sugar in her water to make sure her glucose level doesn't go down. I wake up at past midnight to feed her. But she's still having seizures. Does anyone have a shih tzu that experiences this? Do you have suggestions on how to cure this? Thank you.
Avatar f tn So like the first two months of my pregnancy I drank folic acid but my doctor told me to stop drinking them and insted she send me other vitamins that were better according to her but honestly I only dank them once because they are way to big and if I cut them they taste nasty and with this nausea and vomiting I cant drink them...
Avatar n tn I always change my diet, but I havent had much bread as I think I have an allergy to wheat. Forgot to keep taking B vitamins for missing vitamins. Good luck! There is always a cure! Just keep researching and trying different things. Stay hopeful.
Avatar f tn Did anybody do the glucose test yet? I did mine and the doctor said my levels was lower then normal (I didn't tell him at the time but like an hour before the test I had a piece of cake, expecting it to be to high)but instead my levels is low.... all he said was make sure u take your vitamins....
Avatar m tn Recommend you have your MD run blood tests that reflect all vitamin and mineral levels to see if there is a deficiency or a toxic level. If you are taking mega doses of vitamins (water or fat soluble vitamins) or minerals, you may have medical issues. If the levels are normal, then it is other issues which you and your MD can decide where to go from there. Thank you for your question.
Tbd The pancreas stores the insulin until it is needed to move excess glucose out of your blood. Insulin unlocks the cells in the body to allow extra glucose into them for energy. Extra glucose that isn't used for energy is moved by insulin into fat cells for storage. If you eat too many carbohydrates over the years, your cells become more and more resistant to insulin and it takes more and more to keep your blood level down.
Avatar f tn Also, eating a tablespoon of Brewers Yeast either sprinkled on pop corn (tastes wonderful) or on top of any salad or food, will help the adrenals and the hypoglycemia, you see, Brewers Yeast has the glucose tolerance factor in it, which again is the B vitamins and the mineral Chromium, both are great for sugar imbalances. Second, some food allergies or intolerance's can actually cause blood sugar imbalances. Have you ever had any tests for this.
Avatar m tn Brewers Yeast has ALL the B vitamins in it, not to mention the amino acids, and the Glucose Tolerance Factor mineral, Chromium. I love how it tastes, I put it on my cottage cheese and I just love it. I would try it, you might really like it, and it is a great way to get those needed B vitamins together.
Avatar m tn In the morning, I feel shaky and dizzy...
Avatar n tn today on testing my urine about 30 mins after 250ml of coke and 3 sweet biscuits there was NO glucose in the urine. Can anyone explain why the first test was positive?
Avatar f tn My mom is type 2 diabetic and she takes cinnamon to lower her glucose. She says it works.
Avatar f tn The doctor said I had glucose in my urine. She is going to retest me again in 2 weeks. I went in 2 weeks ago for the sugar test and passed with a 131 cutoff is 135. So my question is has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean I am going to develop gestational diabetes?? I am not over weight but I do have a bad ice cream habit...been known to eat a pint of ben and jerrys a nite!!! Any input would be appericated..thanxs!!
Avatar f tn Test 2-3 hours after a meal [postprandial]when food glucose are at their highest level in your blood stream. This is the ideal times to test to see how well your body manages glucose. I aim for 2.5-3 hours. 3. Testing prior to 2-3 hours you may get a false/positive reading since glucose is still on the rise. 4. Testing after 3 hours glucose is on the decline. Again another false/positive reading. Glucose Levels: 1. Fasting: A. 70-99 mg/dl is normal.
1033811 tn?1261839028 It has been 7 weeks of non stop pain. I am open for any answers. The best way I can decribe it is like a very painful "charley horse" in all my back muscles. The cramping spasms have not stopped in over 7 weeks. I have been out of work & mostly in bed. When I am not resting I have been at the drs. I have been on 3 different muscle relaxers, 2 different pain killers and steroids. These spasms are constant and painful.
Avatar n tn It can take some time for you to feel OK as your body adjusts to new glucose levels as being normal again. So if you test and find that your glucose numbers are in the ideal range (70-126) before meals but still feel crummy, you may just have to wait for your body to adjust to being normal again.
Avatar n tn Also a HgA1c (or HbA1c) blood test would show the doctor your average sugar levels over a period of 3 months, rather than whether you are diabetic on the day the bloods were taken. I had a glucose test done and I was found as being glucose intolerant. Drinking a small swig of the glucose made me extremely thirstly. The other condition that can also affect the urinary flow is prostate problems, so it would be worth getting that checked out.
