In your urine reports, there is a high WBC count. It indicates urine infection or urinary tract infection. To diagnose a UTI please get a complete urine examination and urine culture done. Till then drink plenty of fluids to combat the symptoms of burning during micturition.

The doctor said I had glucose in my urine. She is going to retest me again in 2 weeks. I went in 2 weeks ago for the sugar test and passed with a 131 cutoff is 135. So my question is has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean I am going to develop gestational diabetes?? I am not over weight but I do have a bad ice cream habit...been known to eat a pint of ben and jerrys a nite!!! Any input would be appericated..thanxs!!
Ive had this twice at my appointments staight after each other my blood work came back fine glucose tt then went for my next midwife appointment and sugur was in urine again so had to have another glucose tt and a diabetes fasting test and yet again nothing im now 33 weeks pregnant and all going well im on antibiotics for some kind of infection but thats normal sometimes you will have sugar in your urine if your bloods come back ok try to cut down on your sugar intakes this helped me :-)

Testing after eating is called postprandial. Postprandial test times is 2-3 hrs after a meal. Before this time does not provide a good insight as your blood sugar is still on the rise. As other causes such as stress ,exercises and a recent meal intake may cause increase levels of glucose in the urine. This may be true in isolated cases.
An initial work up may be necessary just to check blood glucose levels. Your BUN and Creatinine levels may also be checked to get a baseline evaluation of renal function.

HI , I AM 45 YRS OLD FAIRLY ACTIVE , MEDIUM BUILD , 79 KGS , 178 CMS., a pilot . i drink beer/ wine occasionally- twice in a month, never been much of an alcohal drinker , a bottle of beer or half a bottle of wine. last year during routine medical my SGPT was found to be 45, SGOT 31. I underwent tests to rule out HEPATITUS & an ultra sound . hepatitus was -ve, ultrasound indicated normal age related fatty deposits.

Today I went to the doctor because I have been itching like crazy, but my doctor is straight up with me and he told me that I have protein and glucose in my urine. I have sugar in my urine most check ups, I've had two 3 hour diabetes tests because my dad and aunties are type 1 diabetics but I passed both :) hope it's the same for you
I fasted 8 hours and then went to the clinic to get blood tested for diabetes...first the pricked my finger and then my blood sugar showed 97...then urine test was good didn't find sugar in my urine...then drown blood to take to the lab...
Diabetes and congestive heart failure are also associated with this. There are other reasons too. Crystals in your urine, again point to kidney issues. So, when do you go back to your doctor? I think I'd ask what their interpretation is and if you warrant further follow up. You had no bacteria in the urine? No signs of a UTI?
