Well, this is a little misleading, because all foods eventually break down in the body to glucose, a form of sugar, which supplies the body's energy. How quickly this happens affects weight and diabetes, but it does happen. Most foods contain some form of sugar. Dairy, for example, contains lactose, and is actually high in sugar. So I have no idea what's going on unless you have a rare allergy to fructose, one of the main sugars in fruit.
