Avatar f tn Hello...I boutgh mine at GNC and it helps balance your hormones and gives you energy and boosts your libido and it helps regulate ur period. If you want I have a website that I use that has all the info you need about natural herbs and fertility and you can buy the herbs there as well. It's www.naturalfertilityinfo.com.
Avatar m tn There are tons of recipes for the shakes (I can post a few or post a link to some already posted), using a good quality protein powder (whey powder is recommended). You can then add a 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, almond or coconut milk, regular milk, fruit, chocolate powder, peanut butter, vegetables or other ingredients to taste.
Avatar n tn m taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info. I am trying to follow an alkaline pH diet as much as poss - but it's not easy, do drink alkaline water tho'.
10052319 tn?1408978714 However for extra help my lactation consultant and dictor told me to take fenugreek supplement which I bought at gnc, and to drink organic mothers milk tea also I bought at gnc. Not very cheap stuff but suppose to really help :-) my best advice would be don't stress to much like I did as that can greatly affect your supply, feed on demand and stay hydrated!
Avatar f tn I also buy the Pedigree dog food which has one where it has glucosamine in it for healthy joints. Ofcourse ask your vet if Glucosamine would be ok for your dog to take because I don't know if hip arthritis and hip dysplasia is the same thing. I hope and pray your baby gets better.
1388999 tn?1370042814 that leg a bit in cold damp weather) So I started her straight away on the maximum dosage for her weight of both Glucosamine and Chondroitin (That is 500mg Glucosamine and 200mg Chondroitin for her weight which is 28lbs) I asked the vet could I use Human grade pills. He said yes the substances are exactly the same. The human ones are much cheaper than veterinary ones! So I bought a huge pack of the pills at reduced price for bulk buy.
Avatar f tn Rite Aid sells GNC.....
6669309 tn?1462648142 Arthritis is very common in older dogs and the longer dogs live the more common it is becoming. Nutritional supplements Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate are two substances that have fast become the standard treatment in canine age-related arthritis. These are often sold as a single combined substance in good pet shops and quality supermarkets. Alternatively, just look up "Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate for dogs" on Google and you should find a supplier.
Avatar m tn At 204, 4 liters is probably about right - maybe even not enough if the soda you're drinking is caffeinated, you drink tea, and you work out or your job involves physical labour. If you don't like Gatorade, you might try the packs of 'Emergen-C' powder. It can be mixed into your other drinks, comes in different flavors, and also has different formulations containing additional supplements (i.e. glucosamine/chondroitin).
Avatar f tn D-mannose powder..u get it at gnc its natural and its what's in cranberry juice that makes it work.
Avatar n tn You need a weight gainer like nitrotech or whey powder. Basically, after you workout you need to down some serious protein to help your muscles regenerate the tissue you've torn so they build up thicker and heavier. My brother had great success with nitrotech from GNC but it's pretty pricey...
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anybody has had success with meal replacement shakes? I've been looking at the GNC lable "LEAN" and 2 scoops of the powder has 180 calories/2 grams of fat/30 carbs (8 grams of fiber, 5 souble) 4 sugars plus 9 grams of protein. I would make this shake with unsweetened almond milk for more flavor then water, plus ice. I am thinking about starting this up on Monday 4/11.
Avatar f tn The one thing I found that helped me get through the first 45 to 60 days was the Protein Shake powder from GNC. I would wait as long as I could possible stand the fatigue and then mix 3 huge scoops of the powder with water and chug it down. Within 30 minutes I gained more energy and was able to make it though the last 2 to 3 hours of work. It was a LIFE SAVER to put it mildly. This symptom will pass. Just be patient for a bit longer and pretty soon your body will stabilize.
Avatar m tn Get some good protean powder from GNC and take in 1 gram protean for every pounnd of body weight you have per day. This will help with the muscle recovery. If your not a novice and never get sore from your workouts then maybe a nasty flu bug.
451053 tn?1237577749 Yes! I too had mouth sores...I used L-Glutamine to relieve them. It worked immediately. Glutamine is an amino acid which is produced by the body in the digestive track. Chemo kills it. Glutamine is a supplement sold at GNC stores and health food places. It's a powder that you can mix with pudding, lemonade, etc. I used one tablespoon of it, mixed with an 8-ounce glass of water, as a mouthwash. Incredible stuff.
Avatar m tn 5 pound schnauzer and has been limping a bit after exercise. I have started giving her 500 mg of glucosamine a day and wanted to know if this is the right dosage?
161647 tn?1280608163 The only thing I can think of was that my mom started taking Glucosamine last year. Can the Glucosamine affect eye vision. Or does anyone have any suggestions. My mom is worried that there is something seriously wrong because the doctor said the next step is too see a retina specialist. Thanks for any advise.
Avatar f tn The reason why your itch is more prominent at night time is because you get warmer. Anytime we have an itch issue, it gets pronounced when we are warmer, as in while covered up in bed, taking a hot shower or bath, or activity that gets our heart pumping faster or we are sweaty. I would recommend that you visit your primary medical doctor to see if he will investigate it or simply provide you a treatment with an antihistamine.
341551 tn?1266980730 I just wanted to pass this info along because I never thought about it until I came across it today...my husband uses this product called Trac-extreme...anyone who has a husband or bf that works out a lot or buys products from GNC might know what it is. It's just a powder supplement that maximizes your workout and enhances your muscles so that you get a better workout. It just gives you more power and intensity. A couple of other guys use it on his hockey team, they sell it in GNC.
1093971 tn?1257833640 Not all glucosamine products are created equal. In order to best evaluate a product, you need to consider several things. When your healthcare and joint discomfort is at stake, take a moment and consider these criteria: What form is the glucosamine in? What is the total daily dose? Are there any other ingredients? What type is the glucosamine? How pure are the ingredients? If you’re considering taking glucosamine with chondroitin you have another ballgame.
