I'm a 26 yr old Male, who currently suffers from back pains in the mornings. Other than the back pains, I would say that I am a healthy and fit person. The pain only occurs in the mornings. As soon as I get up and start moving around, and stretching out the back, the pain starts to dissappear, with only a slight tingle left during the day, but not really noticeable.
in the last two weeks i have had three blood vessels just pop in my fingers. i was not doing anything out of the ordinary. what could be causing this? should there be a cause for concern?
For this reason the vet has prescribed Aluminum Hydroxide, it is your basic antiacid but since it only came in liquid form and it would be too stressful to give twice a day to my cat I called a specialty pharmacy and they compounded it into powder in a capsule and I open the capsule up and give it to her twice a day, every 12 hours. This is so she can eat canned foods that may not be "acceptable" in the levels of Phosphorus, etc..
I would like to hear more about yours what symptoms you had in the past. Also, did they tell you what might have caused your Epididymitis? I thank you in advance for your reply.
I don't have allergies of any kind and I'm in excellent health and I can learn to live with the smell of fresh baked bread in my nostrils.. I mean it could be owrse.. still I think I should get someone to check this out especially as I read about Phantom smells being a possible side efect of brain tumors...
Reglan (metoclopromadine) is a very cheap medication, unfortunately, it is also metabolized in the kidneys, so a too high dose results in toxic levels in the blood. My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds.
Mix turmeric powder(haldi), Fenugreek powder(Methi) and ginger powder in equal quantities and keep in a bottle. Take one teaspoon of this mixed powder in hot water twice a day.
Whoops - yes, Glucosamine with Chondroitin. There are some formulas that include MSM in them too.
I just started taking D-ribose today (5 grams of powder 3x a day). How long until I know if it's going to work? I also take a mutlivit., glucosamine/chon., Celedrin, flax oil, extra magnesium, and Zyflamend. I stretch (15 minutes) and walk (30 minutes) every morning, but still ache and get tired easily. I eat well and drink lots of green tea and ginger tea.
At 204, 4 liters is probably about right - maybe even not enough if the soda you're drinking is caffeinated, you drink tea, and you work out or your job involves physical labour. If you don't like Gatorade, you might try the packs of 'Emergen-C' powder. It can be mixed into your other drinks, comes in different flavors, and also has different formulations containing additional supplements (i.e. glucosamine/chondroitin).
Reason I ask is my Misty used to get what I believe was arthritis in her right hind leg (it was broken once and the vet said she would likely develop arthritis in later years...
I also buy the Pedigree dog food which has one where it has glucosamine in it for healthy joints. Ofcourse ask your vet if Glucosamine would be ok for your dog to take because I don't know if hip arthritis and hip dysplasia is the same thing. I hope and pray your baby gets better.

There is some disagreement about whether chondroitin sulfate improves results, but most agree that glucosamine reduces pain and disability, and in early cases it may even restore joint cartilage. Early on, it was thought that glucosamine worked because it supplied the building blocks for cartilage construction, but now there is evidence it works by reducing inflammation. Glucosamine is a significant immune suppressant and has been used to treat autoimmune diseases with some success.
it is horribly painful to have to put ANY shoes on because of these blisters (except for flip flops -- but can't wear these to work) My 2 days off a week are not in a row...so have one day where i can let my feet breathe & not be in constant pain is not enough time for them to heal. Also, on top of the painful blisters, my ankles & knees have been in constant pain as well. Half way through my day they throb so bad it makes just walking a painful chore.

My male 14 year old poodle gags and coughs about 4 to 8 times in a 24 hour period. My vet said his aging trachea is the culprit. Is there any natural or mild treatment to treat this cough? He also had a paralyzing back injury a year and a half ago which he has recovered remarkedly well from with just temporary steroidal treatment. He has full use and mobility of his legs. Recently I have noticed him reluctant to jump up on furniture at times and just seeming a little less agile.
It has shark cartilage and glucosamine in it and it sinks in really quickly. smells allright too(clears the nose too). worth trying if you can find it.
I have finally received my order of Rhemania 8, but couldn't find any sold for pets. It's the "human" formula in powder form. I have no idea ow much to give my cat who weights 2.5kg (around 5.5 pounds) is it still safe to give it if she has a slight hyperthyroidism?
That would be first on the list if you have not. If this is, in fact, arthritis, cats can be given Glucosamine/Chondroitan; same as humans but really, I'd find out exactly what you're up against before starting anything new. Especially with your description of the limp, as well as, the loss of weight. IMO, your kitty should see a vet ASAP.
Hello, I have a male 13 year old dalmation, he has started to dribble, also has bowel movements in his bed in the mornings, I had him to the vet 10 days ago, and he got Rimadyl for 10 days, he just finnished, some improvement but nothing drastic, mobility wise . I tried to do some research last night and found that rimadyl kills a lot of dogs !
several times thru the night he was in the box scratching and even howling. He is at the Vet.I probably wont be able to get him until tomm. I have been stalking them most of the day-I had to leave for a while. Its hard to tell with Beener sometimes cuz he randomly howls anyways. Also the puppy we have has special food-sweet potato and salmon meal & I have caught them eating it a few times also. All the older boys are on prescription wet/dry food.
this you can make yourself, save your raw egg shells from baking or morning breakfast, dry them for abt 3-5 min in a hot oven, let cool than put them in a small grinder...I use one of those small magic bullet machines...grind up to a fine powder...use 3/4 teasp of this per lb of meat calcium is very important. if you son't wish to make your own esp, you can buy bone meal. 2.1/2 capsule LECITHIN...for Vitamin A&D....also hairball control. I buy this in powder form from iherb.
It should be possible to find a practice in your area that does. We perform titers at out practice in Randolph, NJ and have found that some patients never need vaccine updates.
If you can get supplements in powder form (vs. pill form) --- I say do it. I think it would absorb easier and especially considering that CFS and people with autoimmune conditions have gut problems.
Azodyl can cause digestive disturbances if introduced too quickly, in some cases. Azodyl is supposed to help the digestive system remove toxins that can no longer be filtered by the kidneys. The theory is sound. Substitutes for Azodyl include: Pre and Probiotics such as acidophilus, bifida factors, FOS, and others plus beet fiber. Both are available at health food stores or online. They are both available as powder.
My cat was in emergency animal clinic for 3 days, then came home for 2 days and was blocked again, so back to the emergency clinic for another 4 days, $3,000.00 later i was able to bring him home. He has been home for 2 days now, the first day home he was urinating quarter size clumps, but today he has only gone 3 times and they are about nickel size now. He is not eating his food that the vet has prescribed. He is on Tribissen, Buprenorphine and phenoxybenzamine.
