my husband has recently started glucophage he is having abdominal pain and sweats and headaches and nervous spells throughout the day. He is not having huge spike in his blood sugars. Should his body adjust to the medicine?

I HAVE ALSO BEEN TAKING AN ACE INHIBITOR FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS (WITHOUT PROBLEMS) TO PREVENT RENAL HYPERTENSION (I HAVE HAD TYPE 1 FOR 23 YEARS) AND THE DR. TOLD ME I DIDN'T NEED IT AND TO DISCONTINUE ANY ACE INHIBITORS.
Hello~ 33 yr old female w/ PCOS & was diagnosed w/type 2 6 yrs ago. I was not happy & revised my eating habits along w/ taking 500 mg of glucophage 2x daily. It took @ 1 1/2 yr, but I lost 50lbs & my b/s levels dropped to where my dr was took me off glucophage. I did fine & was off glucophage for @ 2 years. I started reverting back to my old eating habits(did manage to stay away from any sugar, my problem was carbs & fast food).
I took birth-control pills so that I can have a normal period but then my Doctor prescribed me to take Glucophage 500 mg twice a day after food but it has side effects like dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure and diarrehea... I went to pharmacies and asked about the medicine ( Glocophage), they say its good but it is not making me feel good. The last pharmacy I went to suggested that I should take Glucophage XR. I still didnt take it, Im still using Glucophage.

I have hypothryoid disease ( all new to me ) and my doctor has perscribed glucophage to me to helped with irreglar menstral cycles.
My sister, loves animals, last fall while driving she picked up a stray kitten, from the road side, it was a very sick kitten to begin with, upon taking it to the Vet, near by, it was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection, which had damaged its one eye, it has pressure on his eye, and a thin white covereing over the eye, and may have to have it surgicaly removed, he has been neutured, and declawed, once of age.
Hello my name is Jason, I have a girlfriend who has bad breath. Her bad breath only comes around every couple weeks but can last anywhere from a day to a week. The breath is very strong and makes me not want to be near her. She went to a doctor and asked them about it and they said that she may have had bronchitis to much as a kid and now has grooves or dips that food gets caught in, in her throat.
My question is that ever since I have quit smoking and had my wisdom tooth taken out, I've noticed soreness in my upper back area, and on the lower mollars there is blackening around my crowns. My mouth has a bad taste and odor to it as well. I've been using an electric tooth brush, and floss alone with listerine. Do I need to make another dentist apt. or is there something I can do to get rid of the blackness and odor?
**PLEASE READ** I've suffered for almost 2 decades with chronic post nasal drip and bad breath because of it. I'm currently 26 now and the last 2 weeks I went on an anti candida diet where I did not consume sugars/carbohydrates to kill off excess yeast. I ate lots of raw garlic with my foods.
That still didn't help with the post nasal drip or stinky mucus. I read more on this site and someone wrote about grape fruit seed extract mixed in with a saline spray...
It may be something more than simple bad breath from gingivitis. How old is your dog, and does she have any digestive issues? How long has it been since she's had a vet exam? There are some conditions - some very serious - that can cause bad breath, like kidney or liver disease.
A member here (Karla - was that you?) mentioned not long ago that one way to tell if the odor is coming from the dog's mouth is to smell something the dog has recently chewed.
t quote me on this, but i was diagnosed with Halitosis (Bad Breath) not long after i was diagnosed with diabetes and dry mouth. After going Doctors and using medication but to no avail, i did my own research....It appears bad breath can be initiated through bad bacteria in your stomach thus giving the fowl odor breath. So i did juicing. Natural remedies as well and it worked out for me, i got to the underlying problem instead of fixing the surface.
t want to contradict mammo , there is another major problem, which is overlooked, could be due to individuals that have dry mouth, who usualy also have a slow digestion, and when you drink milk or milk products, will have bad breath. You must have a big cavity, that food gets stuck in it , to give you bad breath. Also a crown, that the cement is partially gone, brush and floss cannot get to, also can give you bad breath .
About ten years ago I had a root canal done. Ever since then I noticed my breath began began to get worse. Now it has come to the point that my breath can be smelled a mile away. Even when my mouth is closed it can be smelled. I brush fequently, use mouthwash and floss and the smell never change not even for a minute. When I eat the smell is even worse.I've gone to the dentist and they ruled out gum disease. I also went to the doctor and they can't find anything wrong with me.
