Avatar n tn Just a thought - maybe your energy level has nothing to do with the percs. Can you go to a dr. and have a check up. There's many things out there that will cause your energy to drop. You can try this vitamin called Life Force - it's one of the best out, specialized to deliever cellular energy and balance to vital systems and organs. But, it would be a good idea to tell a dr. what you went through and now you're feeling lethargic.
Avatar f tn The ginseng and taurine they put in any energy drijk is bad for pregnancy
Avatar f tn A malfunctioning thyroid is a major cause of fatigue/sleepiness. Ask for Free T3, Free T4 and TSH tests. Also ask for Vitamin B-12 test, as vitamin B-12 deficiency causes great fatigue as well.
Avatar f tn b12 helps a lot with the energy as mentioned above!! energy was the last thing to return for me as well. i still have some moments when i feel fatigued but mostly feel pretty damn normal again!! 28 days clean now from lortab!! keep going it only gets better day by day!!!

Avatar f tn I am 88 days free of Tramadol! I have been doing very good. I am staying busy, have two beuatiful children, and am overall feeling pretty good! The last couple days though, I cannot help but think about pills and getting some. My mind is telling me that just one refill will be ok and then I will stop. I know that is a lie though. I have 88 days on me, why would I want to ruin that? Is this normal? Will my temptation subside? I need some support!
Avatar f tn Just wanted to post day 8 opiate clean and I am getting my energy bk. It feels so great to wake up and have natural energy and nt have to pop a pill.
Avatar m tn But I am confident it will be better this evening... Still struggle on occasion for energy as my afternoons lack the needed focus... Hope that improves today as well... Once again... thank you to everyone for helping me through this needed change...
Avatar m tn Total T3 measures the total amount of T3 in the blood (free and bound T3) and is generally elevated in hyperthyroidism and decreased in hypothyroidism. Free T3 reflects the biologically active form of T3 that can generate production of energy (ATP - adenosine triphosphate). For muscles to completely relax, filaments must lengthen and separate and this requires energy (ATP). ATP must be bound to a magnesium ion in order to be biologically active.
6063300 tn?1430430571 So I have been sitting here this morning pondering my whole energy situation...Here is what I have come up with! We spend so much time taking our DOC to make us "feel better" but I think we were just fooling (I should say I know) ourselves. We would take a pill to do this or that, leaving our bodies to play catch up with our minds! Now that we are clean our poor bodies are trying to recover and this takes time! Even at 70 days clean I still do not have much energy or motivation.
Avatar m tn As we all know, CFS and FMS both cause marked reductions in activity levels. I thought I'd try my hand at a Poll Question, just to get an idea of what peoples' energy levels around here are like. Some of you will be hit sporadically, others experience energy fluctuations as more of a constant. For the purposes of this question, for the sporadic ones, use how you feel MOST of the time, but of course, feel free to detail how bad your symptoms get during the bad times as well.
Avatar m tn So far 12 days free...But still have NO energy..Feel sluggish...I know get up take a walk jumping jacks etc..But I don't feel like it..took 2 ambiens last night finally got some sleep..I got off the Diziapine days ago..Made me feel like a zombie...Anyone else have this kind of problem?
Avatar f tn Is it normal to have several hypothyroid symptoms with extensive family history of it (hashimotos) and has tsh of 1.01 free t4 .9 and free t3 of 2.9. My tsh over the past frew years has contnuously decreased from 3.4 to now 1.0. It seems like if my thyroid hormones are a little low my tsh should increase.
Avatar m tn just always cold and lacks energy and craving but im good i dnt plan on going back......but imma try an energy drink for energy ha ha ha.....but thanks 4 da support!!

4234155 tn?1352858962 Hang in there! Everything you are experiencing is normal and it will pass. The sleep will come back and the energy level will too. I'm a mom of a very active 2 year old and I know how the low energy level can really affect you. I think you said you were on day 4? Believe me when I tell you that tomorrow and even the next day will get better and better. Be sure you are taking a multi-vitamin and B Complex. These will help with your energy levels. Stay hydrated, drink, drink, drink...
20594525 tn?1501521087 You should make sure in the future that they always test for both of the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T4 and Free T3. Free T3 is metabolized by all the cells of your body to produce the needed energy. By your FT4 test I assume that you are probably taking only T4 med, is that correct? If so, what is the daily dosage? Even more important than test results are symptoms, so please tell us about any symptoms you have.

9894787 tn?1407177311 I guess my question is, how long before my energy levels come back? I work in the construction industry and "draggin' ***" just doesn't cut it. I am blessed to have a wonderfully supportive husband who wants this just as badly for me as I do. Every day I keep telling myself, "No one can do this for you." It's my daily reminder that I got myself into this so I am responsible for getting myself out.
Avatar f tn Hi and Welcome!! Congrats on 5 days!! It will start getting better each day,,I promise. Now,,the mental part comes in. Do you have a plan of attack? Your mind will play games on ya-like telling you "Its OK you can handle 1/2 a pill" The physical w/d will get better the next few days but again the mental h*ll sets in. Keep your guard up,,and keep telling yourself you want your life back! You can do this!! I wish you all the best,,stay close to the forum for support!
