I had the exact same story as you was on 1mg nightly for sleep and thats ALL I TOOK never more. My doc told me to taper slowly I started off 1mg for week then 1/2 1mg for week then 1/2 of 1/2 1mg week then whole peach for 3 days then half of that and so on till I was at a nibble of an 0.125 and then nothing after that little hard to sleep for 5 days to week but I made it an my sleep is normal now and I am SO GLAD I am off them.

My new doctor changed my prescriptions from regular Met to Met XR and added 2mg of Glimepiride. My BG's have been above 300 for last few months and nothing seems to get them down. Doc thinks this change should do it. I've only taken it twice now but since taking it I've been dizzy. Quite enough I need to lay down. I know it says this may be a side affect but does it go away? It brought my BG's down as I said from over 300 3 hrs after eating to 180 just now.

s what you meant, would be a tiny piece of that 25mg tab because .5mg is 1/2 of 1mg. If you meant 5mgs, well then, that would be 1/5th of the 25mg tab. I don't know any Doctor that would tell you to break a pill like that.

today i saw a pain mngmt dr, he took me off hydrocodone 7.7/500mg, and tramadol 50mg, i was allowed 4 vicodins a day and up to 8 tramadol. i have an appt to see him next thursday to, He put me on morphine sulfate IR 1m mg, 1 tab 2x's a day and morphine sulfate 30 mg CR 1 tab 2x's a day, I hope i get better and longer relief. My question will these new meds help any thoughts?

This might sound like a silly question but I was prescribed Ativan in 2015 for generaliised anxiety. I took a 1mg tab morning and night for a week. I had researched what this tablet could do so i just stoped taking it. Just gave me bad diarrhoea but nothing more. My anxiety returned this year and I remember I still had the tablets in the cupboard. I only took two 1mg tablets and then stopped because I was too scared of dependency and withdrawal.

I take a 1mg tab before bedtime and don't take any during the day. I always feel better at night and worse in the morning while I am having my episodes. I also went up on my Lexapro from 10mg to 15mg within a couple of days of trying to decrease my Clonazapam. For women who has lack of folic acid what was the amount your dr put you on, and what did the dr say is safe. My multivitamin tab has 1mg of folic acid which is 1000 mcg but ive also been taking an extra tab of folic acid that is 800mcg(0.8mg) so im getting about 1.8 mg of folate acid, im going to call my ob, i just wanted to no what you women were taking. When I dropped the 2 AM tabs to 1 tab, I started to have the dizziness in the mornings and then lasting all day (I did that 6 days ago). I dropped to 1/2 tab 3 days ago. Still dizzy/foggy. It is hard to concentrate and my patience is short. The drop from 2 to 1 tab gave me nausea and diarrhea for one day. Today is the first day with none. I do take 1mg of clonazepam twice a day, so that helps a bit.

Hello, I am 29 yo considering OC to help hormonal imbalance (not so much pregnancy prevention). I have cystic acne along my jawline. I have been using spironolactone 50mg daily about a year. Overall, it's improved about 50%, but will worsen during pre-mentraul flare ups. However, my derm is hesitant about increasing my dose and suggested adding on OC. Any reccomendation on what estrogen/progestin combo to try for acne?

Im currently taking 25 mg of zoloft, 1mg of ativan as needed, mostly for panic attacks, 1 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide a day for blood pressure, and now they want me to use 1 25 mg tab of seroquel at bedtime. Im only 23 and hate to think i need all of these meds, but when im not doing what the docs say i do feel worst. Im gonna try one pill tonite and decide if i need it i guess? Any Suggestions.

I was prescribed Klonopin a while back for its anti-anxiety help. It has been of good help in this regard. Also it is of some help with mood stabilization but only in conjunction with primary mood stabilizers. I know some people who find it to be sedating or have over time built up a tolerance to it. I haven't had these concerns but each person responds differently to each medication.
