I just finished taking Azithromycin yesterday for what must of been a bacterial infection of my sinuses and lungs. It started as a cold. The cold went away but I was experiencing shortness of breath and post nasal drip that just wasn't subsiding. I went to two doctors. The first doctor prescribed a corticosteroid nasal spray (Omnaris). This helped a bit for the post nasal drip but wasn't addressing the shortness of breath or chronic cough that wasn't going away on its own.
( well as much as we can)
Im planning on taking better vitamins, stopping birthcontrol, having nothing to drink (alcohol), and getting rid of anything that would be harmful for the baby. I do not do drugs, and have never done them. How long Would you recomend to wait before actually getting pregnant?

Do you have any suggestion for getting rid of vertigo which was apparently set off by pregnancy? I've had vertigo for 4 weeks. I've seen a ENT specialist who said that it would take up to 2 months for me to feel like myself. At this point I have no other ear, nose or throat issues. The vertigo started 3 days before I delivered my third child which caused me to be hospitalized due to excessive vomiting. I am breastfeeding and really do not give that up.
they actually think that this part is caused by my fibromyalogia.Most of the time do you sure cause after I throw up or regurgitate which includes a great amount of stomach acid.I have large swollen lymph nodes. And a swollen place that looks like it's sitting on my carotid artery.
I have had mri head ct head scan with contrast I have had all types of blood work and I even saw a very mean d ENT.
I wonder why you want to get rid of a sex drive- most people want to know how to intensify their's.... It is hard to give you advice without knowing what is going on.. do you have desires that could get you in trouble- are you indiscriminately with partners exposing yourself to disease or some other self destructive aspect of sexuality?
However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed.
She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.
00, he starts getting hoarse. By nighttime, you can't even understand him. He says nothing hurts him, it's just he can't speak.

My son developed laryngitis about 2 months ago. It is severe so that he can not talk at all. His ENT diagnosed it as Muscular dysphonia. He is seeing a speech therapist, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. He plays Sax in the band at school and can't get enough air out to play.
Any suggestions?
About 2-3 days later I noticed that the left side of my throat was sore and inflamed with a redness to it. Over the next few days I began to lose my voice and had problems swallowing but did not have fever, body aches etc. Nor did I feel sick although I sounded horrible. I wnet to a Doctor before getting on my return flight and he said he thought I had laryngitis likely caused by a viral infection. Therefore, he did not prescribe antibiotics.
ve also been getting joint and muscle pain in a lot of places. I get really bad pressure stabbing pains in my pelvis and vaginal area as well. Im getting vaginal discharge in excess amounts says the doctor. It is a lot trust me. its itchy to :( I just did a stool sample and saw red, white, and black specs in it. It cant be from food because i havent eaten anything in three days due to strep throat...whick brings me to another point....
Just a little bit excited (!) by this, finally after 8 years getting rid of this drug!
So I'm on 200mg of Lamictal per day, andhave reduced the 300mg by - wait for it - a whopping 37.5 mg!! No seriously, I don't care any reduction is good.So now I'm on 262.5 mg per day for the next month (I think that's right I didn't use a calculator). Then will reduce another 37.5 and so on. Should take about 8 months I think? I'm really really thrilled.
Saw my doctor and the consensus was that it was a viral laryngitis type of sickness. Though at the time (3rd day) did not have any visible issues in throat.
Then developed into a more congested mucousal cough. Headaches and fatigue throughout the majority of sickness. I have since developed sort of bumps or nodules in the back of my throat which seem odd to me. I have had strep multiple times and usually develop more the classic white spots, this is different.
The cough could be the result of an allergic reaction, you should check when and where the cough happens. Another possibility if that of some sort of pneumonia or other infection that occurred when you had that cold. The doctors probably checked all this already but additional symptoms are crucial for a proper diagnosis. You should note all other symptoms. Good luck.
I experienced congestion, cough, and laryngitis a day or two after exposure to large amounts of hay and agricultural lime. Taking this into consideration, I'm a bit skeptical as to whether or not it was a cold or just an alergic reaction. The symptoms have drastically decreased. My nose is still half-way stuffy, and I'm still spitting up white phlegm, but it's more of an annoyance now than anything else. Some people I've talked to think that it's post-nasal drip.
Its been 8 days since I stopped cold turkey. And I am getting these withdrawal symptoms, lots of nauseau, the feeling of wanting to throw up,,, fatigue, tired, not being able to sleep, restless, no energy, no focus, anxiety, depression, crying spells, sad, shaking at times, coughing, sore throat, laryngitis.. How long will this last? I an tired of feeling this way.
Hello I was wondering if its normal to have dark red veins on the back of throat? I have no symptoms, but I did have acute laryngitis two months ago. Ever since then I had no symptoms, but I still feel skeptical when I see those veins on the back of my throat, so should I be worried?
If someone should have an active cold sore on their lip and touches their runny nose while out on a cold day skiing then uses a pen to write and you use the pen just a minute or less after them, what's the likelihood of getting HSV-1. Does it lives in nasal mucus and saliva? Just to caveat this person with the lesion on their mouth did not wash their hands before using the pen and then the pen was used by another within a minute or two.
When I consulted a doctor a couple of weeks ago, he did a stroboscopy and said that it could be due to acid reflux; he prescribed "Pantadoc". I took that for a couple of weeks and did not obsserve any difference. And then consulted some other doctor who said that medicines might be inadequate and he has prescribed the following: Steam inhalation, Dezacor 6 mg, Mucaingel syrup , Pantop D, strict voice rest, and Enzomac forte tablets.
