Hi I was wondering what are the chances of a girl getting pregnant a day before her period and being on the pill??

You can only get pregnant when your ovulating though, which is usually two weeks before your period. Though all woman ovulate at different time some even during their period. But like i said its rare.

Its very possible and not to mention the STD"S in this country are very high. Maybe he is manogamous, maybe he isnt but there is no way I would play those kind of risky games in this day in time. You should know better. And being pregnant is something that could be a possibility too and are you ready for a child? Can you afford a child now? You should think about all of this before you do this kind of stuff. No being mean, just getting real!

Most tests say that you can test up to 5 days before your missed period, so if you are already late, then it should show accurately. Hope you get the response you are looking for!

Have been trying for 6 months, and this month started spotting 5 days before my period, but my period didnt show up. I am not pregnant either. My doctor ordered a blood test to check for my Thyroid and FSH to investigate the reason. I would say make appointment with specialist and be proactive about the condition. I was on mononesa for only three months. I stopped taking it on Aug 16th of this year. I maybe took one blue pill of that month's pack. If I was on the pill I would have started by today as it has been in the past couple of months. Around Aug 28th I started to have thicker discharge, like just before you ovulate, with some brownish color. It stayed that way for the day. You CAN test as early as 10days post ovulation (4 days before your expected period) with certain tests, I recommend First Response Early Result, and POSSIBLY get a result. But you really won't know until your period is late because if you test early and get a positive there's still a chance of chemical pregnancy (where the egg and sperm meet, but the embryo does not implant and your period occurs like normal, voiding the pregnancy). Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you to count the first day of your period as the first day of your cycle or CD 1. Then count forward to day 11 or CD 11. CD 11-16 are your most fertile days, and if possible you should have intercourse every day during these days. IF you want to narrow it down more, you can use ovulation predictors. Good luck!

You will always ovulate 14 days before your period, if you have regular cycles its simple to calculate your ovulation date to the day but if you're cycle can be a few days off I would check your cervical mucus. Learn what fertile mucus looks like. Remember to look for SHOW, soft, high, open, and wet and that refers to your cervix and its position/appearance.

I am 28yrs old I got pregnant in July of 07 and had a miscarriage on 9/6/07. Before my pregnancy I was on a 30 menstral cycle and my first period I got was about 4 wks from the miscarriage. Then like clock work 30 days later I got my period again... then the next month I got it in 31 days and same with the month after that... this last time I got it in 29 days! My questions is: when would I be ovulating? I know on a 28 days schedule it's about 14 days out...

the reason why they tell you to wait a little bit before getting pregnant again is because if you get pregnant again to soon after one miscarriage your chances of having another one can increase in the next pregnancy as far as the no sex thing maybe it is to help you keep from getting an infection internally I'm not sure

Probably not although anything is possible. Ovulation occurs 14 days before the start of your period so you were probably getting ready to start and sex just helped bring it on. Have you started charting ovulation? That will be a big help to getting pregnant. I hope that helps.

My husband and I have been ttc for almost 2 years. I had an ectopic pregnancy back in April and found out I have endometriosis. I had the surgery for endometriosis in June and then was put on Lupron for 3 months. I'm now back to trying to get pregnant again and found out I have low progesterone of 3.8. I am usually very regular, but the last two months I have started a week eary, but it's most of the dark brown/dark red tissue like blood.

and you said that you were using condoms so unless you fell pregnant last month and your just getting symptoms now but if you think you got pregnant this month you wouldn't be having symptoms this early .
